said my husband had 2 charges against him for fraudulent activity

Call me once a day saying there are 2 charges against me. Had my social and knew of an old bank account that is now closed. Said it was for a payday loan, which I have none. When I told the lady, who sounded like a black woman, that I had looked this up and heard it was a scam she said "Well when I look you up I see a mugshot" She said she was going to serve me at my job. I told her I work for a service of process and legal consulting company so bring it on!

A automated # called my cell number an said I had two fraudulent charges against me an my ss #. First they called me on 7013141717 then called me on 3148843226....

Need to know how to stop this type of calls

The best bet is  to buy a phone that can block calls - available at many retail stores or on line.
Option 2 - do not answer the phone if you do not recognize the number as a friend.

I started receiving calls from a number different than this one weeks ago with the same, exact message.  (701) 314-1717.
Now I receive calls every day with the same message from this number:  (314) 884-3226.  They say it's regarding fraudulent activity and I will be summoned etc...  They give a case number for me to call back.   I called the first number and told them that I new this was a scam as it is all over the internet and the lady quickly got off the phone with me.  That's when I started getting the same message but from a different number.

Well i too have been getting calls from 304-884-3226 and the lady left a  message stating i have 2 charges filed against me in my county because of fraudelant activity.  If it is a fraud case on my name and ss then why would i be getting charges filed in my supposed county which is not named. Also they are so slick they do not even have my name correct and any one i owe money to at this point in my life would know my proper last name as i have been married for over 3 years. They say they are from the summons divison , but the recording did not even leave a number to call back.  I know this is a scam as they tried this same type of mess only a month or two ago and like others told me an old bank acct that no longer exists just trying to get me to verify my correct bank acct number.  Never ever give out personal info.

I use CL to sale vehicles. That could be how they are getting our numbers.

I got the same thing. Was put on hold for 5 minutes.

The same thing happened to me. They called my mother and left message for me.

I've been getting calls about "fraudulent charges" or whatever for someone named Michael for the entire time I've had my phone number, which is about 8 years now. The numbers are different, but the messages are usually the same. I've gotten other phone calls from actual people for the same person, but these spammy calls for Michael are ridiculously out of hand.

Got the same call...started a few months ago...I spoke with someone who asked for my name...I gave them the case number they had given me and told them they should know my name based on the case number...they did not know it and then the threats of arrest started...I hung up....total scam.

I got two messages like that too..

Got threating phone call - Threaten to issue warrant for Fraud against me.

Called twice.

Would only ID self as AAL - Date mediation.

I got a phone call last week from them and I didn't answer. Then just today they called my husband. We don't use craigslist, but my parents got hit last week by the same scam. What we got told by police is that these people search for people's information and it only cost $15.00 for a membership on a website and they find information to hold against you. It is a complete scam that unfortunately people do fall for.

I got the same exact call from these people, I also called my identity protection and called the county clerks office, and the county that they called from's clerks office.   I was told it was more than likely a scam because there is nothing showing up under my name anywhere.  and the case number isn't a valid case number that they give you ..

I just got the same message from these people they say they are from a legal processing company and that I have two fraudulent things against my name and social and that I will be summons.

They are telling me I have fraud charges against me and the their using a name I no longer have
