I just got a call from this number, and it sounded like a conference call talking about politics.  Could've been a recording. Hung up on it.

Surprise, surprise,  cause I thought this was a scam too. Got tired of the calls with no message, so I called the 1800 number from the website. I was convinced the comments on here saying it wasn't a scam, were from the scammers. Lol. The lady on the 1800 number asked me for the number they were calling from, and after looking into it, informed me it WAS one of their many customer service lines they call out from. She said there can be many reasons for their calls, including switching scripts to mail order, updating info, or even surveys. But hey, nothings ever wrong with checking with the company if you're not sure:)

Express Scripts - The company that handles my drug benefit through my employer. They called and left message. They always call about this time of year.  I believe they are trying to get me to switch my prescriptions to mail-order.

This is Express Scripts trying to sell my husband on a new prescription drugs plan. They claim that he gave them his number (it's my number, and he didn't give it to them). They refuse to remove me from their list because they said he needs to be on the phone to ask for removal. Blocked.

Just called. My hands free said 'call from *name*' so I answered even though I didn't recognize the #. Automated voice said call for my name regarding my prescriptions, press 1 to hear about benefits your current insurance doesn't offer....or something to that effect, so I hung up.

I rcvd a call from Express Scripts 01/20/2016@ 1239, and politely told them to remove my number or the next time they called I would be far less cordial. Well, today (01/21/2016 @ 1311) they called again. I recommended to the nice lady that she do something that is probably not anatomically possible. I warned them! Perhaps she will quit, and we will have one less telemarketer with which to deal. And before you bleeding heart ass-hats get on me about them "just trying to make a living"....gtfoi.

I called them back, because they had called twice with no message.  Said they wanted to talk about my prescription benefits.  I told them I used a different pharmacy.  They said they wanted me to change to them.  I said "so this is a telemarketing call?"  They said "not exactly".  I said "Yes, exactly, I'm blocking your number." and hung up.

I don't have a smartphone, but my flip phone can save contacts, and I set the ringtone to "No Ring".  I named the contact "Rx Scam".

They keep calling my new Google Voice number. Each time its a different number and they leave a message every couple times. They say its ExpressScrips and need to update account info and they say the policy holder is a different name everytime they leave a message. This is FOR SURE a scam, they can't even get the name correct. The trick is they want to leave the message knowing that its wrong info so that you pick up the phone the next time and give them the right "updated" info. They are spoofing a real company no different than someone spoofing Chase bank or Visa. The people commenting above are probably part of the scam saying its their prescription provider, why would they come on here to leave a comment saying that, why would they lookup the number in the first place. If someone is spoofing Visa I'm not going to leave a message and say don't worry guys, thats my credit card providers name.

Express Scripts is indeed a mail order pharmacy but that is where the legitimacy of this organization ends. They are constantly calling to remind us of their services and are always looking for ways to angle in their service and get you to commit to ordering more drugs from them or having you have your Dr rewrite your RX. Sort of reminds me of a stockbroker 'churning' your portfolio, so as to increase what they can charge the insurance company. A very aggressive way for them to increase sales, at the very least I would consider it unethical.

I've had calls from his number maybe 6 times over the past two weeks.  I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the caller.  There was one message in my voicemail, identifying it as Express Scripts.  The message wasn't about a particular script, bt offered "new ways to save money on prescriptions".  I assumed they want me to use the mail-in option, which I prefer not to do.  Good to see that others have had the same sort of calls.

It is Express Scripts.  I called them using the number I have from my RX bottles.  The Rep looked up the number on her company number list and it's there.

The problem with express scripts calling is that we, have told them repeatedly we want to stick with our local pharmacy- they said ok.  asked them not to call again....but they do 😞

A legitimate call from my prescription provider, but not a  very useful one; trying to find lower cost plans for prescriptions I have.  They weren't successful, but they were legitimate.

It was a recording from Express Scripts about getting the most out of my benefits and asked me to call them. I think they purchased an online pharmacy that we used for one of my kids prescriptions. The recording had our name.
