Automated voice claiming suspended ATT account

Called my business cell.  Left no message. Blocked call.

Same as "Caller" above, automated scammer claiming to be AT&T. "Your account has been suspended for verification purposes."

My daughter got a text that she's over her $300 international plan - she's in Croatia.  Stupidly, I called the number, and now they have the last 4 of my SS #.  I'm calling AT&T to let them know.

What do you expect ATT to do about the fact that they now have your SS#?

If you feel your SSN has been compromised, in addition to putting a fraud alert at the 3 credit bureaus, you may want to notify the IRS.  Here is the link, fill out the proper form (probably 14039):

Just got the same. BS call.

Received 2 calls from 314-925-6925 within a few minutes of each other.  "They" apparently left voice messages. Everyone I would be receiving calls from is in my directory and since I don't know anyone with this number I didn't check them as it would cost me $1 to do so.

Received a call from this number on my US Govt. IPhone.  I missed the call and do not plan to call them back.

Received a call from supposedly AT&T saying my account was discontinued. To restart press 1 or speak with representatives. I am with Verizon, my wifi is currently AT&T which i was using so it is not discontinued.  I hung up before giving info

Scam call that my AT&T account had been suspended. I have no such account. BEWARE!

I called them back.  Beware, the speak pretty good English and are quite convincing.   I know they have database of names and numbers because I gave them a false number and name which they tried to match.

Answered phone. Heard AT&T chime then robo voice "AT&T account verification .your account is suspended press 1". I hung up. Probably shouldn't have answered; I usually don't pick up on unknown numbers. The real AT&T would have been an 800 number like 1 (800) 331-0500
