Thats the same thing that happened to me. I applied for scholorships and now I keep getting this phone call and no one seems to respond. Its wierd

I got a call from 315-207-4761 several times.  Please make it stop.

I receive calls from this number several times a day. I used to pick up & someone would ask if it was me (using my first name) & then hang up.
I no longer answer but they keep calling.

I don't know what phone service you use, but I have Comcast. I use their call block service - dial *60 then you follow the prompts to add this number to your call block list. I got two calls from them today with one hang up on my voicemail. So I blocked them. It just says customer service on my caller ID. I also have a private number and I block private calls from calling me. It costs a little extra each month, but annoying phone calls are few and far between, believe me. :-)

Received 7 missed calls from 315-207-4761.  Annoying.

I think I got this call by applying to a job on Craigslist. What I did since I have been getting calls from this number 5 times daily, I notified my state's District Attorney office, and I told them I'm on the states NO CALL list they are looking into it and they said they will take legal action.

They are University Finder...so irritating.  I asked them to remove me from their phone list and they seemed to call more instead of stoping.  Already have talked to them three times...I'm about to file a complaint against them!!

Hi, this number -3152074761 has been calling my cell phone for days. From about 8am to 5pm i get a call every hour and so does my sister. When I answer most of the time no one is there. However, today when i answered the phone, a very rude guy asked me a bunch of questions about a college application he says i filled out. ive never requested info about college, and when i asked him to transfer me to someone who could take me off of his calling list, he told me he wouldnt stop the phone calls and then he hung up. I googled the number and everyone says its some kind of scam. Apparently it keeps calling people over and over again with the hopes that we will call the number back, then it charges some ridiculous fee on our phone bill.. ive added my number to the do not call registry, but it seems that wont work for another month.  i dont know the name of the company, tho i saw something online that said it is called "university finder" ??

They called me today. I've been getting multiple calls from these people. Going on for a least 3 months. I told the lady " You need to take me off this list. I asked to be taken off last time you called" ... she says "Did you tell us to take you off the list, or was it an actual school"... me: "Wait so you're saying this isn't an actual school" her: "umm what?" me "umm what is right, just take me off the [***] list"

Idiots.

I found on another board that it may be a marketing company, with alot of people getting these calls after filling out "fast web" financial aid for themselves or their children.  It is a company called marketstrategies.com.  There are contact numbers on their site.  I let them know i don't want calls, they said they would put me on their no call list, and i told them thank you but if the calls persist.  I will call their corporate office a hundred times a day.  By the way, that is officially the best way to get telemarketers to stop calling, re-bombard them, seriously.  All you need is the parent company name.

This caller has called me 4 times this evening.  I answered the first time and a male voice said 'you are next on the chopping block'. I did not answer the other times the call was made.  This is a nuisance and threatening as far as I'm concerned.

called three times already today.registered on the do not call registry but still recieve calls.how did they get my cell phone number anyway.

Received two calls within 15 minutes of each other from this number to my cell phone. I called it from my home phone to find out who it was and heard the same message - you have reached our customer service.... and I hung up. Googled the number and realized they are also associated with a toll-free 1800# which they are probably using that Magic Jack product so they can produce a new number every once in a while. I am just going to ignore it.

Keep and eye out on the phone bill for any unusual charges.

JERK LIST.Nothing on Caller I.D. but the phone number.   I am working in my office on Labor Day and this number has called repeatedly and hung up on my answering machine.  Would an American caller call a business on Labor Day?

they have started calling me too.  5 and 6 times a day.  Because I do not know the number, I don't answer.  two months ago, I was getting about 20 calls a day from different colleges asking for different people.  I finally asked where they are getting the number and the lady told me from a universal college listing.  I asked that she remove my number,  she said she would.  I didn't hear from them any more until 2 days ago.  Oh, and I have not filled out anything on the internet.

This caller has called me several times over the past week sometimes 2-3 times per day. Sometimes they leave a message which is blank, sometimes no message. I have answered the first few times they called and no one is there when I answer. Very annoying to keep getting these calls.

I'm getting multiple calls a day from this number and have no idea why? I want them to stop calling me! It's beyond annoying!!!

I get on average 8 to 12 phone calls from this number a day and if I do not answer they call back on an 800 number.  Both claim to be associated with a college and continued education.  I have told them to stop calling a number of time and to take my phone number off their list, but the calls continue.
