I had a missed call from this number. I called it back and the woman stated my name and I said yes. She asked me if the last 4 digits of my ssn were xxxx. I told her I'm not verifying any personal info over the phone. She got an attitude and stated that they will peruse the 4 allegations against me. Then hung up. The company name on the recording I believe is Core Resolutions or recovery. It's an Iowa number.

Everyone is just receiving these calls today? I got one at 130 today. Is it a new collection agency? Or a scam. What the heck

Got a call from 319-409-6331, it is just another SCAM. The other phone number to watch out for is 479-358-7623. Block them with your iPhone.

They called my sister phone give her my full name and last 5 of my ssn tgen whrn my sister was trying to to tell them something she was like oh don't worry bout it we'll see you in court.
    So my sister called me and give me the number and said that these people was going to take you to court so when i got off the phone i give them a call the first lady was on the phone then she put another one on the phone and she said im i speaking with my full name and last 4 of my ssn and i was asking what is this for so i can get a better understanding of whats going on then she give me an email that i never heard of then she kelp me on hold for a while. Then i hung up

I missed a call from this #. Of course no message was left so I called back & got disconnected. I called back again & gave my name. I was put on hold...nobody returned back to me.
Im home sick today missing work & have this crap to deal with. I still have no idea who or what this call was about..so aggravating.

A man called me back about a pay day loan from 11 yrs ago. It is a collection agency.
I wish they would be more up front in the beginning. They are very dissieving.core

My husband received a call from Iowa he let it go to voice mail, it was a company called Core Resolutions stating that they are wanting the were about of 'me". I just received a call on my home phone from the same recording, I waited for the person to come on and she asked for me, I said speaking, she stated my name and then wanted me to verify the last 4 of my ss#, I wouldn't do it. I asked what this was concerning and she told me if I wouldn't verify the SS# she wouldn't speak to me and proceed with allegations against me, I asked for a call back # which she gave me, 503.345.1501, I said ok and she hung up!!! This is just getting out of control!!!

This is a SCAM! They said I took out a payday loan online in 2012. She kept switching back and forth to the "company", to see if they'd agree on a settlement. Scary part was she knew the entire number of an old bank acct number I had with my ex husband. I've never taken out a payday loan in my life, even though I was apparently being sued for $770. I figured it out after calling my bank to see when I closed the acct they said I used @and I closed it in 2011!!! I called them back and told them "shame on you, get a real job like the rest of us" I told them they will all rot in hell for what they do to people. Today, the same 319 number called my fiance! I have out a fraud alert on all 3 credit bureaus since they read the last 4 of my social security to me on the phone. Do not call them back!! It is 100% a scam!

I called the number back & some guy answered -mind you they called me from like 2 totally complete different numbers from different states already. Anyway, the guy wanted my information to further assist me I said "no you have it so figure it out" so he goes on to say " I'll transfer you to who called you, lol he did just that & it was the same [***], she got so rude lol. She said my wages will be garnished from a loan I allegedly took out several years ago.... Don't fret you guys hang up & move on. It's tax time so they're trying every way.

CORE RESOLUTION MEDIATION called from 319-409-6331 left message to call 479-358-7623. They claimed I had taken out to payday loans which I hadn't and threatened wage garnishment. They wouldn't give me a contact address claiming they and their client had over 50 addresses.

You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation letter (think of it as the best $6.47 you ever invested).  Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it.  Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):  http://www.consumeradvocates.org/

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

I just got the call from this number...telling me I had a loan default in 2013. I told them I never had a loan from anyone other than BOA. Brian Cooke caught attitude and told me he works in the legal department and I told him "I didn't know legal depts hired such ratchet ass people". Haha he flipped out and hung up. I'm a professional but I raised in the hood haha

The same phone number as others are reporting called me, claim the same thing as others.  They even called my wife,  and when she tried to ask who's calling,  they wouldn't identify themselves until she verifies her identity.   Who does this???  These guys call every few weeks, different name and number,  same scam.

I got a call from Core Resolutions yesterday at 12:45 PM phone number 319-409-6331 ,and the lady told me that I had taken out a payday loan in 2012. She went on to say that they were suing me for theft by deception as well as fraud. She said that I would be served papers this week. She had the last four of my social my closed checking account number she had all of my personal info. This call scared me to death I mean theft fraud I've never taken out a payday loan ever. I was just so upset ,but everyone that I've spoken to says it's a scam. I mean why wait all these years later ,and why haven't they been sending me something in the mail. That's what others that I've owed bills to have done. Very scary I hope that it's just a scam.

Just got a call (they called me last week too), but I don't answer numbers that I don't know. They didn't leave a voicemail, so that means it's not important and is a scam just like all the people say.
