Unwanted calls....please remove our number

Calls daily. If I answer there is no one on the line.

Its simple...do not answer calls you do not recognize.  OR speak broken english and make them annoyed at trying to understand you.  They will quit calling.

Since January 4th until today I have received 20 phone calls from this number.  Sometimes I received 2 calls in a day.  I thought this was " The Heritage Foundation" until I read on this forum that it wasn't. I am an avid supporter of  "The Heritage Foundation" but like everyone else I don't like getting soliciting phone calls so when I would receive mail asking for money I would send it back, in their postage paid envelope, with a note, no more donations until your phone calls stop.  I went to the yellow pages and looked up  "The Heritage Foundation" and the number listed, matter-of-fact there were two, and neither was this number.  I know they could be using a special number for their telemarketing calls; and probably are. Since I put their number on call block the calls are getting less frequent; but still coming in.

I received calls from this number around 5:30 pm for the past 4 days. This is getting annoying as there is nobody on the other end of the line. I now look at the caller ID and don't bother answering when I see this number.

If someone continues to call you after you repeatedly tell them to stop, that is harassment which is against the law. Filing with the DNC might be a good way to show evidence that you told the person who was calling you didn't want to talk.

This is different than THE heritage foundation.

These [***] keep calling and won't stop. Its annoying. They call and won't say anything when I answer are leave a message on answering device.

Call came in Jan.15th 6:22 PM PST DINNER TIME!

Caller ID READ 'HERITAGE" WTF???

Wife did not answer....I wish I DID!!! I'd FIRE up my professional whistle Up THEIR ASS-DRUM!!!

I have been plagued with calls from this number & just called them back. It is the Heritage Foundation.  The fellow I spoke with was very nice. I told him I'm on Social Insecurity & have no money to donate, would they please remove me from their calling list. He said they would do it right away.

They have called me before & after business hours but I do not pick up. Am adding this number to my Uverse  call blocking list. I suggest you check with your phone or cell provider to see how they can help you block calls on their systems.

It says HERITAGE on the caller ID when they call

The lady that called said she was from the Heritage Company.  We used to get calls from Youth Services asking for money.  We have asked many times to take us off their list.  They still call!  Our company now is going to hang up on them.  Very annoying and they won't leave us alone.  

They call me about once a day. Caller ID says only "Heritage".

10/22/14  Call came in with I.D. as "Out Of Area" and went to answering machine. No one would speak, then hung up.
So I Blocked... just another time waste!  
The call I.D. DIDN'T come in as "Heritage" or "Heritage Foundation" (as many other complaints mentioned prior.)
However, I have received a call in the past from both "Heritage" and "THE Heritage Foundation." What a difference. The area code of (202)  is where THE Heritage Foundation organization has its home base is and the person was respectful when asked that they no longer call by my request and haven't bothered me to this day. I did look into it and found there are so many other businesses out there with the name "Heritage" across the states with many different area codes. It's no surprise that over the years, we can no longer trust the incoming I.D to actually be who we think it is let alone Business and Company names. Sadly we can't rely on do not call.gov and will always have to be on the never ending alert for posers and imposters.
