Called for someone else, i told them it was the wrong number. Then goes on to pitch for making a donation for cancer. Yep definitely was cold when I declined to give to a charity association i have not personally looked into. Sketchy in so many ways.

I received the same call about donating money to help women with cancer who cannot afford to pay for their medications. When I asked for clarification on the organization she was representing, she sent me to a recording. Annoying! Seems like a fraud! Beware!

Just got a call from this #. Asked for me and then said bye and hung up. As usual busy when I called back.

Why did you call back?  If it was a legit caller, they would have left a message.  Save your time and energy and don't worry about callers who do not identify themselves or leave a message.

They asked to speak to the head of the house. I told them I would send 20$ so then they wanted to know how my last name was spelled. I asked them what was the name they had for me, they just insisted that I spell it, I asked them to spell what they had...hang up! Scam-rama!

Got a call... ignored it though...

called me twice and its an automated machine that knew my name
to hell with these telemarketers..  stop harassing people, if we want something we will look for it

This number called my pay as you go cell phone at 7:55PM last night 12/22/2015. I was talking on my land line home phone and did not answer and they left no message. Caller ID on my cell lists nothing where a name should be indicating this is most likely a scam.

If you have an iPhone it is very easy to block calls with Verizon. All you have to do is go to your list of recent calls, touch the "i" button on the right next to the number, and scroll down until you see "Block this Caller". Hope that helps in the future :-)

Call no messege kind of creepy

Obviously a scam ... called my cellphone # with the same spiel - "Is (?) there?" I said wrong #. She said oh, well I'm calling for donations to (some cancer charity). I said we don't donate over the phone. Blocked her number ... it's easy on my Verizon phone; just tap menu on top/right and choose "add to auto reject list".

they started to say thank you for calling please wait for e rep then a sales person said would you like to buy some thing to day all sales go to some kids group

Called my cell 11:24 a.m. 12/30/15 PST.  I didn't answer; they left no message.  Argh...

called from some cancer group. Ashed for money in first sentence.  I'm on the do not call list.
I said I would google their org. She hung up immediately. Scam obviously.

Calls at 9:42pm. Seriously? Scambags.

Didn't answer no message
Got a call 2 min later same #, still didn't answer and no voice mail.

I just received a call on my cell from this number cell as well.  Thanks to someone else's tip here on the thread, I checked my Iphone 5S (on ATT) and sure enough, if you select that call to view, you have the option to either BLOCK the call/contact, save it, call back etc etc.

I received a call from this number at 3:10PM on a Sunday. I answered and the woman (whose voice actually sounded like a recording) asked for me by my first name. She asked for a donation to a women's cancer support group. I asked how she got my phone number. She said that they purchase numbers from various sources, but she does not know the exact source of my number, and then without taking a breath she said that no matter how they got my number these women still need my help so please donate. I said no and I expected her to hang up on me like most telemarketers do, but she thanked me for my time and told me to have a nice day.

Scam this a computer voice ask them what time it is or the date . They are useing a spoof number also report them to the police or FBI warn others also
