Called tonight on our cell.  Very peppy male voice asking for a certain person by his formal first name (red flag) who the phone doesn't belong to.  Went on to indicate he was the Disabled American Veterans.  When asked why he is calling *this* number, he stammered and said he would take us of the whatever list.  No worries.  He was being traced!  LOL  Definitely block this number!

More scammage from more of the same scummage.

DAV asked for me by name, told him I was a vet, he hung up.  Blocked the number.

Calling for small collection for Veterans, would like to send an "Envelope" for your donation.

Called my cell phone asking for my father who passed away almost 3 years ago.  When I asked who they were they just hung up on me.

Received a call.  Said they were from veterans and wanted a donation.  Ask for my money and address.  They had my cell phone number

Just got a call from them. I asked if there was a website that I could go to in order to verify their information, they guy replied with "Thanks, bye".

This A-Hoe is a screwed, he even called on Xmas, regardless is one has a Party or not.

Caught me - normally don't answer unknown numbers. anyway, caller asked for Lisa. When I replied with "wrong number" caller says "well, maybe you can help me" and launches into a (dubious) charity pitch for disabled veterans.

After he ended the speech and asked to confirm his reason for calling, then I asked why starting with a wrong number ends up as a solicitation for charity? He had no answer but said He'd update his records.

When you call back it says "Thank you for calling the FUNDRAISING CENTER. We are unable to take your call at this time". Apparently they're phone spamming to get your money by way of a 'fundraising center' with this one.
