Left no message. Calls every day

The number calls several times per day and at all hours. Very annoying. They never leave a message. This is becoming harassment. They call during work hours and at night. I heard it was for past medical bills but we work out bills with the hospitals by ourselves so I am not sure why they are harassing me.

If they don't leave a message, then how do you know it is about hospital bills?  Legal hours to call are 8 am to 9 pm your time.  Without more information this is the best I can tell you.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

This is from the Cleveland Clinic's credit collectors they send your our due bills to.  I had a $23 bill I was unaware of because of insurance usual underpaying.  But I did answer and they told me they were who the Clinic sends all their bills to.

...who are they?  Name, address, website, if any?  For those reading these comments, do not pay simply because someone has called and states you owe money.  Make sure your caller(s) send you that mandatory debt validation letter within five days of their initial contact with you - BigA has posted good information above.  Don't fall prey to some scammer masquerading as the owner of your alleged debt.

They call and want my birthday.  Not nice

Has been calling once or twice a day last couple of weeks... never leaves a voicemail. Appears to be a collection agency called "Revenue Group."

Just started getting phone calls at all hours of the day and on Saturday. He was so rude to me when I said who is this I'm not verifying any of my personal information. Her asked what he was calling about without verifying and asked to mail me a bill, form, letter or even post -it!! He rudely said have a nice holiday and hung up!?!? Crazy that eveland clinic would hire such a unprofessional company if that is the case.. The thing is my bill with Cleveleland clinic hasn't been turned over. I am going to file a complaint and wait for a letter?? Don't let people on the phone bully you or get your personal info!!

Answered call and repeatedly said Hello but no answer and eventually they disconnected me without saying anything

I answered - they wanted my date of birth and I said I will not verify it because I don't even know who they are -- she immediately hung up on me.

Caller asked that I very my DOB.  I said NO and they hung up with never telling me what the call was for.

I don't think it's just Cleveland Clinic.  My Mom had some outstanding medical bills when she passed and while they have called me a number of time, they do not leave a message.  Even though I am in communications with the hospitals that are still owed, that is the only thing left undone for her, so I think this caller must be that... or some medical company has been hacked and these people are trying to 'verify' info.  Like others, though, I'm already dealing with any money owed directly with the hospital and so I don't know why any agency would have our information... also, I am not responsible personally for my Mom's medical expenses so... how did they get my cell?

I have never been to Cleveland clinic so I would not have a bill there.   These people call constantly and refuse a message.   They also do not leave a message and use many different numbers.   I refuse to answer but this is getting beyond ridiculous.
