I applied for work on a job sight purchasing goods and getting commissions for it and I am afraid it’s a scam

I got the same kind of call just this morning from +1-347-809-5443 A Kevin Jones saying he is from Criminal Justice Legal Law..Telling me that either me or someone who can speak for me needs to call them now..or an arrest warrant will be issued for me. I looked it up and the number is some land line in Manhattan,New York

Yes I got the same one 5 times with 2 hours that the police will be there to arrest me if I don't call back

This same caller tried threatening a law suit again. This time I hung up. Month ago they claimed I had an outstanding payday loan with (XYZ) whom I later called to find I did not. The firm was sending papers which never came; threatened to send the sheriff's office to arrest me for their warrants. Nothing happened. No money was asked for on the 1st call.

Called and left message that I'm going to jail and I better call him back. I think not!! But he from the boogie down. Aka: Brooklyn.

If he called from that number then why are you in this thread?

Same guy Kevin Williams called me and said I had 3 felony charges and I have a lawsuit against me yeah okay I’ve never been in trouble and tried to say I took out a loan in which I don’t even have a loan taken out

This is what they told me on a voice mail and it was a female's voice.

Says I owe a loan and if I don't pay them today $800 they are going to issue a warrant for my arrest.

Left me an automated voicemail saying I have 3 felony charges out for my arrest and said they sent me 14 emails, texts and calls to contact me.  Demanded my attorneys name and wanted me last 4 of my social.  I asked who sent the email and he said “cash advances” and then hung up.  Scammers.

A foreign man called saying that I’m charged with three felonies regarding pay day loans, and I owed him money. He said he worked with a Bryan Cave law firm based in New York. The address he gave me doesn’t exist. My attorney confirmed it was a scam.

I got a call from him saying  we were being recorded,, he told me don't say nothing until he finished recorded,, he said I got a loan directly deposit into my account and if I don't pay it I will go to jail and my social security number will be lock,, I need to get a lawyer as soon as possible..I know he was a lie,,he wouldn't tell me date,year, are what bank it was deposit in..And only IRS able to lock your SSN number

Charles green from Bryan cave law firm supposively !!..called me several time I returned the phone call the guy couldn't speak a lick of English he said I wanna speak to Tabatha I said yeah he said I'm not gonna sit here and listen to yeah and hung up on me. I called the number back I said this is Tabatha.  I dont appreciate u hanging up on me even after u say there is three litigation against me. He was very rude and [***] at that. He hung up on me again . For the third time I called back he left it go to voicemail I left a voice mail o trust me and I told him I was turning this phone number over to the state police and to not ever call me again or send me a text stating that I have been served through email, text and phone and good luck in court .. who in the hell do these people think they are. I thought only essential jobs were working right now to begin with I work in the medical profession and I dont have time for ignorant people like this during this time of pandemic shame on you people who think u can scam everyone ya fools not this chick not this time not ever !!!!

First - Block the number and ignore any future calls.  As you said, you do not have the time for these calls.

Second - These people are criminals.  If they are going to break laws to steal money from people, what makes you think they are going to follow directives limiting who can go to into work?  Unfortunately, thanks to modern VoIP technology, he could very well be doing his scamming from home.
You say "I thought only essential jobs were working right now".  People who can do their jobs remotely (such as teleworking) are still allowed to work from home, while they shelter in place, even if their "non-essential" brick and mortar workplaces have to close.  (But scamming people remains illegal whether it is done from an office or a home.)

You do not mention just what you do in the medical profession, but in any case - stay safe, stay well.

They called several times left a voicemail said they were filing felony charges against me in my District couldn't really understand him. Told him I was going to the Shieff"s then started he  said other things that I couldn't understand.

I get this flipping call Two calls a month. I've been waiting for them. I've got my soap on a rope and my tooth brush.
I figured that they was so nice to let me know when they are coming to get me.
I have 3 warrants.

Charles with Bryan Cave's firm took my call and told me that today they were going to file 3 felony charges against me because I took a loan and never paid it.  Saying restitution was now 6,000 dollars and that a warrant would be issued for my arrest. Really I'm fighting cancer and now these desperate people are trying to scam me on top of everything I'm going through.  They were nice enough to take a hundred dollar payment now to stop the proceedings.
