This person is also a female.  Goes by Helena (Lena) Briggs. Met her/him on Adult Friend Finder.  Has a paid subscription so getting profile removed is difficult.   Living in Naples Italy. 34 years old. From Capetown South Africa.  Currently living with mother. Working for a catering company. Pretty convincing string of emails she sent me.  Never getting to a scamming request for money, but I was sure it was coming soon. Played along to see what she was leading to. I goggled the pics she/he sent me in an email were of a 22 year old girl form the UK.  Just so happens there is a Helena Briggs from Capetown on Facebook, but the pics dont match to the ones she/he sent. I got real suspicious once she said see wanted to talk to me and I gave her my cell.  She texted me twice.  I noticed the number she texted from is located in the US and not Italy as she said she was currently living.  One common thing this person uses the same birth date of February 15th on other scams.  Seems like this person is a serious scam artist.

Ladies.. this man is doing this to a lot of women.. I have been talking to him through Gmail and Phone,, he also has a yahoo account and has another name to add to this list .. Pollard Elbert   pollardelbert@yahoo.com.uk..  A man on facebook.. David Avey contacted me to start with, saying that his friend Pollard was shy and wanted help with "talking" to women and asked if he could contact me.. I figured it was a scam but went along with it. Of course he is in love with me ect...the usual bull crap that scammers say..So needless to say.. he is the man asking and "Pollard".  please check you facebook page and don't allow him to scam another woman.. One woman on here said he is "evil"  I am inclined to agree with her...

I am and have been talking to a "Robbert Williams Robbert" for the past 1 1/2 months..I knew from the beggining that he was not real....The more messages he sends me, the angier I get...It makes me sick that there are people out there who prey on others. 2 Years I met a man on Christian Mingle and fell for his lies, after 2 months he asked for money when I would not fall for that he called me all kinds of evil names..At that time he was going by "Jeff Alexander from Italy"..I wish there was a way to stop them

Hello, I've received messages from this person ... after talking to him via private messages, he said he was in Australia for work but that the ship had broken down and I was going to send a money and personal items to my house, but I did not give my address ... then he said he had been attacked by pirates and was admitted to the ICU of a hospital ... they sent me an email, one (Doctor course) asking me for money to continue with therapy-saw that did not agree to give him money sent another message asking me to solve some problems 700e!
I researched a bit and say with these comments, so I sent a private message and told him he was a scammer and ... surprise! Blocked me and has disappeared from Facebook!!
In facebook photo appeared with a white shirt, dark jacket, brown hair and apparently looked quite handsome ... we are talking about the same person??? Appreciate your response ...

Just busted a guy running what seemed to be the same scam. He tried to befriend me on FB December 2012. I didn't accept the request. I said my friends on FB where either family, friends I grew up with or people I went to school with. I said you can message me if you want and so he did for three months. Then at Easter I hadn't noticed a message he had sent me until about 2 wks ago. That's when contacted started up again. He gave me two UK numbers where I could reach him at. I hadn't tried until today and they didn't work. He asked where I got those #'s from I said you. He said those weren't his #'s. he said let me text you and he did. The number seemed like a stateside number so I looked it up on the Internet and found you guys. So I called him on it. I asked him if he knew his number was connected to a lot of negative stuff. He said what stuff so I copied and pasted some in a message in fb, within two minutes his fb was disabled. So I texted him back. I said, Wow! Your off fb just like that? Got nothing in response. With me it was messaging of fb. The most  it got to was two text messages thanks to you ladies. This man is going by the name of Esteban "Stefan" Gilbert. Although on fb it appears as Stefan Esteban Gilbert. He says he a widow, has a daughter "Annie" and the wife died of leukemia two years ago. He was born and raised in Atlanta, Ga but when his wife died had to get away so he moved his daughter Annie and himself to the UK where he runs an art gallery. He said he lived in Nottingham but the numbers he gave didn't match the numbers for the area. Having lived in the UK for two years I was curious and looked them  up. He was nice enough, said all the right things and was sweet as can be but I noticed in his writing that he didn't sound like he was from the south at all. I mean I am and it will come out once in a while. Sometimes his writing were different rather foreign in sounding. For lack of better words. I'm not trying to sound bad when I say that, it's just the words stood out. Hey I think I have the same guy emailing and calling me....says his name is Joseph Adine.  Have googled him and can't find anything.  Gave me a Texas number but when I text him at that number he returned my text with the 360-234-2394 number.  He says he got divorced then his ex wife died and he has a daughter in boarding school in Quebec.  He is quite the charmer.

Register William Hughes from Zoosk Messenger.    Says he is from Brantford, Ontario but raised in France.  Architect.  Born Feb 14, 1961.   Widower - lost his wife and son in a car crash.    Three years single and about to begin life again.  

Hot photos...Whoever the photos belong to is a keeper!!!  But alas, not French but with  Arab accent.   Phone calls from Florida.    I yahoo'd him and said next time I see him on Skype (to align face to the pictures).... he never got back to me.    Oh yes,  he was leaving for Dubai to claim his late father's gold account (former gold agent in Dubai)

In a romance internet scam - money. It's always about the cash. Stuck at airport, ran out of gas, mother is dying, father is dying, etc. Remember you are emailing/chat with a stranger. If in a very short period of time, marriage, undying love, etc. come up, followed by a request for money for an "emergency". Trouble! NEVER send money to a stranger, for a request, that you cannot verify in person. NEVER use Western Union, Money Gram, any form of wire transfer. It is CASH. Untraceable CASH. Remember your new "boyfriend" can easily be a man/woman sitting in a computer filled room in Nigeria.

All very lovely, right? Well if it seems to good to be true it probably is. Especially if its someone you made friends with online. The one thing I'm glad of is I never made him my friend on FB that would have opened him up to everyone I knew. There have been many times when I wish I could be more trusting but God gives all this gut instinct ladies and gentlemen so please use it.
