Just a call from  360 322 6159 also. I hung up as soon as she called me maam.

I got the same call yesterday, which started out as verifying my info on my Google business listing--I gave no more information than what was already public on my listing. It was a woman with an accent (probably Indian), and she transferred me to someone else without fully explaining why. When she handed me over she "introduced" me to the second person (a guy that sounded American and personable), and said that I "would like to inquire about front page listings on Google." Annoyed that I had said no such thing, I told him I wasn't interested in doing anything with my listing at this time. They never clearly stated that they weren't a division of Google, but it did sound fishy.

Today I got another call and it sounded like the same woman. She started with "I would like to speak to the owner" and I said "you have the wrong number, this is not a business" (I am a piano tuner, so I answer calls for tuning on my personal cell phone--but anyone calling me for a tuning generally knows they are calling me personally, not a place of business with more than one person.) She said "I am calling for the owner of [my name, RPT]" and I said "oh, is this Google?" and she said "no we are not Google, but we are calling on behalf..." to which I told her I received this same call yesterday and wasn't interested, and hung up. I then verified on my phone that it was the same number I got the call from yesterday.

These people called me about 5 times today and said that they will not stop. They have been calling me for days on all my phone lines. Said until I go through their process they will not stop calling me. Some one needs to fine these jerks. Kept telling them that I am busy working and they are interupting. I begged them to please stop. They said no and they will not put me on their do not call list.

Same exact thing happened to me. The only thing I did differently was hang up on them and tell them I was going to sue!

Wow, today must be telemarketing day.  I have had 2 phone calls, back to back with scams.

I just received a phone call from this number (360-322-6159) from Ronny, with an English as a second language accent.  (Not 100% sure, but I think Indian)  He said that he was calling to find out if I was qualified to be on the first page of Google.  Seeing as I was suspicious already from my first phone call from Canadian Business Pages Online, I told this Ronnie that I was not interested in his services.  He became rude, and arrogant after this.  I suspect that the moment you confirm everything and answer all their questions about your business, they somehow have the audacity to bill you for their services.  I am becoming extremely wary of telemarketers, or business soliciting me.  I figure if I want their business, I will be the one to contact them.

I got one too, just now.  Must be stupid telemarketer day.

I called back after 3 hang ups.

No company name on out bound message is suspect.

Press 1 to be removed from out list (sketchy).

this people call me every time they said they calling from goggle and ask me my information  ALSO CALLING FROM DIFFERENT NUMBER ALL TIME  

Same call asking for information to update Google's database.  When asked to be removed from their call list they became angry and nasty.

Received a call from these company trying to pass them selves as Google.  When I asked for there company name they said they were Global Tech when I asked for a number to call back they gave me 703-361-2992 when I typed in the phone number in the search bar it came up picture people in Manassas.  Beware complete scammers!!!!

I have autodial on my computer. It uses the internet, so there are no line use charges.

I put their phone number into autodial, and a person answered the phone on the other end. From the noise on the line, they were in a room full of people.

Since I don't have a phone hooked to it, I could not speak to them, but I could hear them saying "Hello" several times before they hung up.

I thought it was so funny that I put it on auto dial and told it to keep dialing. Even though it would only allow me to "repeat the call" ten times, I went to bed, and in the morning it was still autodialing and people were still answering their phone.

While I ate my breakfast, the calls and the answering continued, and I couldn't quit laughing.

Received a call today. SCAM

Just got a call from 360-322-6159 wanted to talk to the owner. I asked how can I help you, I was playing along knowing all well it was some sort of bs he was going to try and sell me. He said he could help me get more business. I told him I didn't need his help and to place me on their Do Not Call List, he tried to continue his selling speach, when  I said, I am not interested, if you call me back I'll report you to the FTC.

It's not Google, it's a scam. They usually never say they are Google, just they want to update your Google listing. Charging you money for something you can do yourself for free.

Just received a call from this number.  A woman was on the other end, she spoke very strangely (I can't describe it) and there was a lot of noise in the background on her end.  She asked me if I was the owner of my business.  I answered "yes", but was already feeling very weird about this.  She then asked me to provide my "name or nickname".  This felt very sketchy, and I didn't want to provide any personal information, so I asked her who she was and who she is with.  She answered, "I'm from Global Tech with Google," and then she again asked me to provide my name or nickname.

I replied saying that I was uncomfortable divulging my personal information.  She "assured" me they are not asking for any sensitive material.  I consider my name to be sensitive enough!  Since she said she was "from Google", I was a little worried that something was going to happen to my business listing, so I asked her if it was required that I provide this information.  She said that yes, it was required, and she asked again for my name or nickname.  This just felt too bizarre to me, so I just hung up on her.

Looks like my instincts were right...

i got a call from this number, he asked for 'the owner of the business' I said my number doesn't belong to any company. He said 'I'm sorry' and hung up

These people told me they were Wells Fargo Bank..Very India accented guy that called asked for the owner. Told them that they weren't in then asked for the person in charge of the "credit machine" . It was so fishy I 800-notes their number as I was talking to them. Guess they have more than one scam going at a time. When they call I just pick up the phone and slam it down.  Don't even bother answering...
