That happened to me too!!

Got a call, no message. Called back, busy tone. Dumb jerks.

They call me every few weeks, you can not call them back to tell them put me on your do not call list! Really Pissing me off!!

Didn't leave a message.  Called my company cell.

called my cell phone twice.. no message.. i work nights and they managed to wake me up

This number called both of my parents' cell phones within an hour. They were confused about this and I called back and it's busy. Based on the comments here, I think it's a spammer.

Left on my friend's phone. Didn't leave a message either

My story is pretty much the same.  They called my Verizon smartphone.  I normally don't get solicitation phone numbers on my cell, but it appears as though someone got their hands on some kind of list.

Called my Verizon cell phone about 15 minutes ago. I didn't pick up, they didn't leave a message.

Calls constantly but no messages and tried calling back several times but busy tone

I was walking down the street with my hands full of books as I received a call from this number---a real pain fumbling in my pocket to get my phone out.

There was a long silence, at which point I was about to hang up, when I heard "Hi!, this is your captain..." with a ship's fog horn blowing in the background.  I'd guess they hoped to sell me a cruise or travel deal of some kind.  I hung up immediately.

However, the final aggravation is that, as a pre-pay phone user I got dinged my normal $1 usage charge, but I also go whacked for another dollar.  Maybe they weren't really after selling me anything but just after a buck.

Check your bills when you can to see if you got hit with a phony charge, too.  (I thought you had to initiate a call to get whacked for phony charges.)

Several calls, try to call back and it says the person I have called has not set up voice mail
