I got two calls from this number and I just got a new number. It is no one I know and they didn't leave a message

I missed 2 calls from this number within the last hour.
My callbacks only got busy signals.  
Irritating, but grateful for this site helping me know it's a hoax!

Just got a call from this number, but no reply, what the hell. Back traced. Don't have a name but I'm trying to find out.

just got a call from them.. no msg.. googled the area code to see where it was from, saw this site..

Called me too. No message, busy signal when I called back.

I answerd .... don't know why, I got a junk call just an hour ago from a MN area code! But did since it was a 360 area code, and I'm living in that area code now. No message though. Just blank air, then a few beeps and it disconnected. Thanks robocaller. Not getting that ten cents back.

Just got a call from this number, live in NW and have verizon.  Cruise ship advertisement / sales trick.  I've gotten these before from a different number

Just called me too - I don't answer to numbers I don't recognize.  These guys are on a roll today!

Just called my cell phone in Colorado. It is my developer phone I use to write apps on for Android, and I never use the number. Didn't answer, though I do like cruises and long walks on the beach.

I also got a call from this number right now.... it was a solicitation about "2 free boarding passes". I hung up there.

Nuisance call.

I'm not answering a call from a number I don't know. 1511PST.

The most common reason for these type calls and response is that telemarketing company's are getting smart and using computers to call sequential numbers looking for voice response to be passed on to their operators for later sales calls .. This is the reason for no voice when you pick up. And when you speak your automatically added to their list as a valid sales call number. This explains the busy signal when you try to call or no voice when it does pick up which again adds you to the list of valid calls.
Because of the dont call lists out there and non published numbers this the only way these company's can get new numbers to dial. That doesn't make it right but they still do it. And it's all automated so they don't bother checking if the system screws up and repeatedly calls you.

The only way to beat this that I know it to record a disconnected number signal and replay it when you pick up the line, that is if you have caller I.D. And recognize the number to do this.

This problem was created years ago by hackers looking for computers to log on to for fun and now has been adopted by telemarketers.
