Rec'd call on my cel#, but female mechanical voice was cutting out; so did not hear who was calling, only that my account was in collections with them, & to call this #.

(360) 474-4713 is obviously attached to a scam. The Internal Revenue Service (not "Services" plural, as the robo-voice said) NEVER calls taxpayers about anything (unless an agent is returning your call to the service about a specific question). The Internal Revenue Service ALWAYS sends snail mail if there is a problem with an account. If you get a call from someone claiming to be with the IRS, it is a scam. Do not give any information to a caller who purports to be from the IRS, do not call back, and, above all, do not be frightened.

Call from 360-474-4713  I let it go to VM and got the same message as others commented.  Did not answer the call.

I also received a message for me to call this number; person identified themselves as calling from the IRS and that it was suing me for tax fraud.  I am so curious as to what their next step is in this scammer journey?  If I am ever allowed the opportunity to speak with a live person - will they offer to settle with a one-time payment of a certain amount?  I feel terrible for anyone who actually falls for this load of BS.  And I really wish the people who were calling would go out and actually earn a living instead of being a pariah on our society.  [sigh - I have stepped down off of my soap box now.]

Received two calls within an hour from this number claiming that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and I need to call immediately.

Robo voice claiming that they were giving me one last chance to contact them and pay before they proceeded legally. I have a very thorough tax accountant and this was just a waste of time and a rather comical attempt, if it wasn't right in the middle of a meeting.

Actually the robo-lady says "infomation", like someone forgot to type the "r". It was all worth a good laugh. Time for me to get back to work and make an honest living.

I can't believe they are still trying this old scam!!!  Come on idjits ~ give us a break!!!  Robo call saying they are IRS, yeah right!!!!

Received the IRS call today. It was on my VM. Please don't fall for this scam.The IRS does not call you.

Just got the recorded message at 10:35 this AM. She said this was 3rd attempt to notify us that we were being sued by the IRS. Haha. Idiots. Did not try to call that number. Waste of my time.

This number just called my home in Louisiana claiming to be the IRS and that they were filing suit against me & that I needed to call them back immediately! Nice try, losers! Get a job! The IRS DOESNT CALL YOU & THEY ALWAYS GIVE YOU A CASE # TO REFERENCE!

Tax fraud

Just retrieved a robo voice message with the same exact info  from this number left yesterday after business hours.  When I called it back just to see if it was identified as the IRS, I received an accented robo voice that just said they were unavailable please leave a message. I don't think so!  Glad I googled the number.  Thanks to all of you who have posted your experiences.

I got a very garbled message on my answering machine and yes, like others have stated, they referred to being the Internal Revenu ServiceS - ha ha!! Called them back and got a foreign sounding woman who, when I demanded to know who they were because (and I actually said this) "I assumed this was a scam", immediately hung up. DO NOT give these people your personal info!!

Another ROBOCALL--stating from IRS--final call saying they are filing a lawsuit against us.  Well to bad I am NOT falling for this scam!!!! I do feel bad for the people who do fall for this junk.  The people doing this need to get a real/productive job.!!!!

I received a call from this number telling me I owed the IRS. I refused to pay the amount so they informed me that I would be arrested within two hours and was looking at 5 years in prison. After hanging up I called the local sheriff's office and reported the scam next call to local news paper to warn the community.

Recorded message indicating that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and that I should call them back at 360-474-4713.
