I am on the DoNotCall List.  I hung up on this annoying caller.

Got a call from this number and I let it go to voice mail as I always do if I don't recognize the number.  No message left, and guess what?  My callerID  said "NOT IN USE".  This proves again that these idiots are finding a way to pull up somebody else's number so these obnoxious calls can't be traced back to them.  NEVER answer these calls.  You'll never be rid of them otherwise.

We received a call yesterday.  This is what came up on Caller ID "3608616939 - NOT IN USE"

Called today and my caller ID read "not in use" never saw that one before.  I never answer these calls.   Most often a scam.  If it is an important call they will leave a message, otherwise my answering machine picks it up.  They usually hang up at that time.  Wondering how many fall for this crap.

my caller ID for this number says "not a working number" well it called me so it must be working,.I haven't got time for this nonsense,I hung up.

Mine showed up on caller ID as Not in Use. That was a first. All he finally said was are you there? I replied, are you a recording? LOL They hung up.

They keep calling and don't leave any messages. very, very annoying.

me too and it drives me crazy with the constant interruptions.

Thanks for the insight. i've just received a very similar call and have had numerous others recently with the same pattern. And i suspected there was a voice recognition aspect to it.
Technology. Making our lives more and more annoying with each passing day.

Some telemarketer SCAMMERS will COPY and PASTE your affirmative answers and make a recording of  your call appear that you agreed to their terms and that's what I suspected with this caller. After I realized it was a voice recognition system, I realized that "YES" is the keyword so it knows to go on to the next question.

STOP ALL ROBOCALLS!!!!!!!!
