I received a call from this number stating that this was my "second and final notice to lower interest rates on my credit card".  When I pressed "1" to see who the caller was and if I currently do business with them, my question was not answered and I was instead hung up on.

DISCONNECT THIS CROOKED RIP-OFF BUSINESS!!!

Got a call from this company.  Automated voice said they were calling about my credit card rates and a very important message.  I pressed 1, and they said they wanted to talk about lowering the rate on my card.  I asked what card, and she said "all of them".  I asked what company she was calling for and she HUNG UP ON ME!

This has to be something really, really shady.  Beware!

Call from this number on call  ID. Said from "UT Cell Phone."
No msg left on answering machine. Suspected just another one of the scumbags that is harassing all of us. They live outside the law and care less if you complain.

They called me and said press 1 for information on lowering my interest rate. I pressed 1, then immediately asked for their address, which they said was in Casselberry, Florida on Route 436. I asked for a phone number - she said "I just work here, I am not allowed to give out that information." She asked if I had over $4000 in credit card debt, or if I held a credit card. I said no - she said "well then you don't need our services" and hung up. I hope they call back so I can think of more clever ways to get information about them.

There is a way to block it....I have my phone with Time Warner and they block as many as up to 30 calls. Check with your phone supplier.

Calls about credit card interest, have been receiving them for several years, never can get a company name.

this is exactly what happens to me.

just got a call from this number and same as most of you, the recorded message was from "Credit Card Services" trying to call me for a last chance at lowering my interest rates...nice try guys, but I paid them all off a year ago.  Pressed "1" to speak to a representative now, and got absolute dead silence. Hung up and redialed the number and got the euro-siren in the background. Caller ID says Salt Lake UTAH and the number on my caller ID is 385-226-3690. I am in the process of filling out the online complaint form to the FCC now.

Received numerous calls from this company, they never leave a message and when you call back no one answers

I have no idea who this is that keeps calling my home; but they really need to stop!

caller id said cell phone Utah. I know no one in Utah, nor do I do business with anyone there. I answered the phone in Spanish to throw them off. No one replied, so I hung up. My number is on dnc list and has been unlisted for several years. I can't help but wonder if it's "Cardservices" again. They've been harrassing me for two years no matter how many times I ask not to be called. I have already reported "Cardservices" to the state Attorney General.

Having an unlisted phone number only prevents your friends or family from getting your phone number.  Anyone who wants to find out an unlisted phone can do so in too many ways.  Why pay for something that everyone can get anyway?

I've filed complaints with the FCC, State Attorney General's office and other agencies. Even after I told them I am and have been on all the "do not call" lists, they told me there isn't much they can do. They suggested an expensive feature offered only by Verizon/Bell called "call intercept". Anyone who knows anything about the feature knows it is a big hassle to block calls and you're only allowed to block up to a limited number of calls. My phone carrier doesn't even offer the service. No, anonymous call rejection will NOT work for these types of calls.
Maybe we should forward these calls to the FCC. Do you think they'd get the hint?

As I said above, being on the "do not call" lists, Federal and State, means nothing. No one thinks it's important enough to investigate that company.  You are ALL correct! The callers are rude, obnoxious, uncaring and most likely will steal your identity if you give them any information AT ALL!  
People - PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not give any information to these people. The illegal company can NOT do anything to lower your interest rates.  YOU can lower them with the credit companies yourself, if you know how and have enough fortitude to stand up against the credit companies. Ask around. Read the websites. You might luck out.  Just don't allow the callers to get your information!!!!

It's a fake recording trying to Fish for info.  It talks about my credit cards...I DON"T HAVE CREDIT CARDS.  It's a scam
