Got call from number +393193260011 Tuesday 27th January, I live in Finland, didn't answer or call back thanks to this site. Seems like a scam.

got a call from +393193260012 today at 18:37, I answered but it hung up, checked the number on google and found this page........

Got a call from +393193260039 at 3 this morning on my cellphone in Oman. Good job I found this website first!

For those me you wondering how they got your unlisted number/details etc, well they didn't. They just take a known number format and use a computer to alter the last digits an send out automatic calls until they get hits. This is what is done by telephone research firms (I used to work for one in the UK) and isn't illegal, much to the consternation of people who are ex-directory or are on BT's list to avoid unwanted calls.

Good news: if your number isn't publicly listed then these firms don't know anything about you (like if you dial a random number you don't know who is on the other end).

Bad news: As it's random you could always get another one of these calls from a legit or non-legit organisation.

* Legit organisations probably won't call you on your cellphone from another country at 3 in the morning and cut the call after only one ring!

* As I said, before you pick up/call back the company doesn't necessarily have any info on you, so if in doubt, check on the internet first.

i got a call from +393193260028 yesterday ( 29jan-09, at 16:51)
didnt see it call, didnt call back, but checked my phonelist, cuz i know ppl in italy, so i knew it was from italy. i checked the internet for this number, then it sayd i should call back, so i did. and then some vveird woice answered, and after 10 minutes i found out it was aliens!!! then i got teleportet from the spot i were standing at, and ended up in a alien spaceship :OOO
they did different tests on me, blood samples etc, and placed a chip in my spine. after about 5 hours i got portet back in my gf's house, then i thought "wtf just happend, was this a day  dream, then i looked at the time, and it hit 16:51 as i watched it, then i checked again, about when i got the call, it was 16:51, so i got portet 1 minute back in time!!!!!!!

I got a call from this number just few minutes ago...fortunately i couldn't answer at the moment, then i decided to find out more...and here i am. I'm italian living in Portugal. How could we stop unwanted calls?

Got a Call from this number:+393193260042 at 10 am today. Knew it had to be some sort of a hoax or wrong number , so i checked the internet for the number. PLZ DON'T CALL BACK THE NUMBER YOU WILL BE CHARGED A LOT OF MONEY ON YOUR PHONEBILL IF YOU DO.

I have already knew about those calls. So when I recieved today a strange call, I did't answer.
But I was astonished, how fast are those people and how vast is the area.
It means that our personal data is not secure. Because my phone number is hidden by operator.

I just got a call from 1-392-193-2600-12, but I didn`t get to answer my phone before it stopped ringing. What is this? I got shares in a british fond, so i thougt it might be it, but out of curiosity I googled the number. Kind of freaky that I`m not the only one recieving calls like this!
