I pick up the phone and put it down until I hear the fast busy signal.
Caller I.D. reads Service Rewards. No since in reporting them, they just get a new number.

Got a call with no response. From Service Rewards of Rhode Island. We are also on the DNC. Will probably add it to my Block List.

Maximum Security hires a company to call us, robo-dialing.  Then they sell the accounts to Monitronics International, Inc. I just got off the telephone with Maximum Security Alarm Inc and was told they have a call center.... I think they may be directly responsible for the robo-calls.

These are the telephone calls where the other person refuses to identify themselves and hangs up.

I found registrations for Boston, but, the one thing registrations share is that they use all drop boxes and no real address.

Companies like Monitronics International, Inc., support these scumbags by doing business with them.  The links are tentative at this point, but, I will be looking to see if these two companies are working together.

Wait until you have a human being on the other line, then, BLOW A WHISTLE AS HARD AS YOU CAN and maybe they'll be deafened for a while and will take you off their call list. Referee whistles are great for ALL telemarketers!!!!

Buy a panasonic cordless phone.  The one I have blocks 30 numbers.   I keep a list of numbers, date and time.   When it is a telemarketer or robo call,  and they call me.   I block it.   After 90 days if they do not call again, I remove the number.   I had over 400 unwanted calls in a year.  notifying the dnc list, is supposed to help, but doesn't.   Look on Amazon for the best deal, you can get a phone with or without answering machine and extra handsets.

caller is from Service Rewards, which is a pseudonym for another company.   I have blocked their call number and of course they will change it.   I am reporting to DNC which won't do anything

Called and did not leave a message. Return call gives no information.

Keeps calling however I have put him on the "Blacklist" on my cell phone and he can call all he wants... My phone never rings with a call from this #!

I got one today..........didn't answer..just looked at caller ID..to hell with them..

Received a call from this # today @ 2:22 PM.  Something about putting a sign on our property, security...  Usual robo call at the beginning; then, press a # to be taken off the list or 1 to get more information.  Since the option to be taken off lists is probably a joke, I pressed 1.  The guy asked for my name.  Before giving it, I asked him what the name of his company is:  Monitronics.  (I can't confirm the spelling.)  I told him I just wanted to confirm the name of the company since we're on the do not call list.  He said "Well, you pressed 1."  I told him I didn't care what I pressed, he's the one that initiated the call and we're on the do not call list.  I guess he was very busy since he hung up on me.  Oh, boo hoo!!

1/24: Looked like telemarketer. Getting tired of picking up and hanging up.

I agree. The national no call do not work. I get these telemarker calls almost all the time. So I put on my greetings " The National No Call list does not work. I do not reponds to scams and telemarkters " They usley hang up at the first part of my greetings it works on most ot the calls

These telemarkter and scams calls get around the Charity and Police or business call to sell their products.The scammer and telemarketer know this .So they fake the calls to get through. That why the National no call list do not work. Take for example  " Microsoft tech:" calls. They use the business name to get through. They are nothing but scammers. Raising funds calls are aloow on the National no call list. It is a problem with these calls. It is call haressment and is very annoying. They also call after 9: pm that violate the No  call list rules. Do what I do in my greeting on my answering machine " The national no call list do not work. I do not responds to telemarketer and Scammers. All other call leave name .message and phone number i will get back to you as soon as posible " This greeting works onalmost calls. They hang up as soon they here me say " The National no call list do not work."

Been getting calls from this number the last week or so.  Never leaves a message, so I assume it's a scammer.

Got a call from them today with just hte number in the caller ID, but I just ignored it...
