Requested on several occasions to be removed from their database: they still keep calling.  I eventually spoke with a representative of the company who wanted to argue with me.......I just started screeming in his ears, and as loudly as I could.  Hope they get the message.  Seems the Do Not Call List does not work.

I got this call today too. My caller ID shows it as "Service Rewards." No idea what company this is supposed to be, but I'm guessing just another scammer. My number is unlisted, AND I'm on the DNC. I really have to wonder if people/companies like this just go to the DNC to try and find out if they can see what numbers they can get and call anyway.

I really wish that there was a way to block irrtating numbers like this from my phone.

It was quiet for a few days, but then I got more calls.  Sigh.  Three calls to report, 2 new numbers, I actually answered "DEER VALLEY MEC" because I thought it was something else, the dude knew my name and tried to sell me AC service, "Deer Valley Mechanical":

    401-558-0007 @ 2012-11-01 12:23pm - SERVICE REWARDS (new for me)
    480-699-0166 @ 2012-11-01 01:28pm - SOLAR BEAR
    623-581-1152 @ 2012-11-01 02:11pm - DEER VALLEY MEC (new for me)

I suspect these may be part of the same scam organization that stuck my number in their auto-dialer over seven months ago and has been harassing me ever since.  We'll see if me telling Mr. Deer Valley that I wasn't interested will make these calls stop (don't count on it).  More detail and numbers that have been bombarding me with calls are listed in my posts here:

We bought a panasonic cordless phone set that has a call blocker system in the phone.  We had problems for years not being able to block calls.  Since we have 2 floors in our home it helps to have several phones.  When I get a call I don't recognize, I check it on my computer.   If it has bad feedback, which most do, we block it.  These phones will block up to 30 numbers.  Panasonic is the only phone company I've seen with this feature.

I get calls from this company ALL THE TIME.  Even though I am on the Do Not Call Registry and I have elected to be placed on their internal do not call list.  If you speak to someone to be placed on the do not call list, they simply hang up on you.  It wasn't until I sat through a presentation as if I was going to purchase their alarm monitoring service (with a free GE alarm system for $49.99/month - expensive - for a 36 month commitment).
The company is MONITRONICS (http://www.monitronics.com/).  They claim the company that installs the system is "Maximum Security".  Check out this info... http://www.ripoffreport.com/security-services/maximum-security-ala/maximum-security-alarm-inc-fo-53784.htm
Every time you get one of these calls, file a complaint with the FTC at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx
Only if they get enough complaints will they go after these a**holes.
If you really want to hit them where it hurts, call them and have them go through the entire presentation and then tell them you wouldn't do business with a company that violates the Federal Do No Call Registry.
    Time is money.

Received the call from Service Rewards on Dec. 7.  Filed a complaint with the DNC.  I do this with every call I receive.  I can call block with my Panasonic phone up to 30 numbers, however these people change their numbers by one or change area codes.  My phone fills up quickly.  I think the DNC could find and stop this if they wanted to,  Way to go US Government, why am I not surprised???

This is the third call I've recieved since requesting a no-call list, which I requested after the message - 3 times. I am filing a formal complaint with the FCC if I get one more call.

The call came in as Service Rewards so I did the answer and hang up to stop the call from ringing.  Then I called the number back and the option to be removed from their call list was offered by pressing "1" and  I have now blocked this number too.  It should be a crime for these companies to call.

This is how this scam works. it works 2 ways. These telemarketers keep calling random numbers trying to get an active telephone number. They get it by either you answering the phone ( now they know its an active number ) or by you calling the company back after they called your house several times to ask the company to remove your number from their call list. They usually at this point ask for your name as well as your telephone number. Now they have your telephone number that they know is a legit number so they either sell that number to other telemarketers or they can get personal information on you like your Social Security number and Drivers Licence number to open up credit cards in your name just by you calling them back and giving your name and number. In most cases, blocking out the number is only temporary because these companies change their numbers every few weeks. For me, the only thing that worked was getting Magic Jack and only turning it on when i needed to make a phone call and then shutting it off when not in use.

I am so sick of these people calling me with the stupid, the fbi reports a home break in every x amount of minutes.
How can they legally keep calling me! Damn political lists. I get called by all the non profits and political lists around and then creeps like these start calling me. So much for the DNC list and it is getting worse. How can I stop them?
