I got a call 05.06.09 there was no message and when I call back it said that the number was disconected.

who called me from rhode island from this number????
i know no one from there and live very far away. i did not answer it. tell me how this person got my phone num. i will not waste long distance answering calls i dont know. geeez.

Answered call. Recorded message in Spanish so I hung up.

I answered this phone call when I got it. Some spanish lady said I had won a prize. Then I was transferred to an operator (male) and he said I won a three day vacation, but first he needed to know what credit card I used to determine where I had won the prize at. He asked me my credit number!!! I obviously said no way and hung up... So be careful this is a SCAM!!!!!!!

Called my cell the number displayed.  it was a recording (man-british accent).   The message said "This message is for argus [or arjus - something like that] customers only.  Press 1 to claim your price."   When i didn't press anything the line disconnected after a few seconds.

The number has not been disconnected. I just got a call from that number 2 minutes ago at 2:10p.m. May 7, 2009.

Just got a call from 1-401-889-9876 at 2:10p.m. May 7, 2009. Guy had a British accent and said I have won a prize that is for Rogers customers only. He said to press 1 to accept the prize, which I did not do. A few seconds later, his end of the phone connection went dead.

This is a telemarketing call.  They tend to be persistent... annoyuing.

Got a call on cell phone from this number and a message recording in spanish
language. When called back to check .The number says its disconnected.

I got this call today at 3:20pm. A very annoying telemarketing call. I am in Alberta, AB, Canada

recorded message said i won something as a telus customer and to collect press 1. i hung up. may 7/09

Same here, just got a call from it.  Did not answer and no voicemail was left.

Got a call on May the 7th 2009 at 3:45pm.  Don't anyone by that number. Did not answer

just got the call from this # lady said i had won $1000 to claim press one then they hug up. try calling and phone is disconected

Ok, totally strange.  I really wish someone had an answer for this one.  

I had the same thing, call came through and didn't leave a message.  I called it back and it was a recording saying the number has been disconnected and it automatically disconnected.
