I got a call from this just now from 401 889 9876 it is like 6:50 thursday 12/27/07 I called back almost immediatly ( I didn't pick up when it rang I was driving )and it said disconnected, I just pressed redial. I'm in the U.S.

This is all I could find on this mystery number...no name, but based in Rhode Island...

I live in Toronto, I got the same above with a spanish message. I guess some one wanted to collect money from Canadian cell phone customers. anyway we can have goverment block this number, area code seems to be in Rhode Island/

Got a call from this 401-889-9876 but I was late in picking it up.  No message left.  Guess it is the revenge from a collection firm to whom I owe $10.

I just got a call from the same number!!I didn't answer though, being afraid that I will be charged for long distance call. By the way, I'm with Rogers.

Cell phone rang at 7:47 PM tonight. Picked up late. no message.

Got a call at my MTL cell number, it was a hang up; no message.  I tried to call back the number (from another number) and it said that the phone number had been disconnected or was not in service.

La police et la GRC sont sur le coup nous sommes plusieurs avoir recu cette appel....La compagnie Rogers signale que ceux qui se sont faite prendre sont les gens qui parle Espagnole...Donc si jamais vous recevez un appelle du 847-915-7915 ou le 586-473-6084 ou encore le 401-889-9876 ne repondez surtout pas...

Les infos que moi j'ai trouvé le numéro serais en provenance de L'illinois au (USA) suburban Chicage....Quand vous appuyer sur le #1 c'est pour vous soutirez des infos sur votre compte et vous faire payer les longues distance...

Que vous soyez avec Fido, Telus,Bell,Videotron pour eux y'a aucune différence........DONC N'APPUYEZ JAMAIS SUR LE #1

Called my cell twice missed both calls first one was at 6:44 second at 9:20 didnt leave any message didnt bother calling back

Got a call at around 22:00 pm on December 27th, on my Rogers Blackberry, but was not able to answer.  Try to call back.  The line has been disconnected and does not exist anymore.  Looked up in reverse 411 us, just says it is a Rhode Island number, Warwick, and it is a residential landline.

I've got a call from this number but all I heard was a recording in spanish. I keep asking who is on the phone but no one ever answered. What kind of telemarketers are these people? How can I trace this call?
