Yep, like The Guy, I just got this call at 11:24am this morning. I was in class so I couldn't answer. Sounds like it would have been a waste of time anyways...

It's interesting that after receiving 2 work related calls in the daytime the next call seconds later is this number. My phone's a Telus cell, maybe Telus is in cohorts this company, giving them a signal to call a specific number when the person is likely to answer.

I am on Bell mobility too, in Vancouver BC.  I have gotten a few calls from 1-403-201-9988 but didn't answer because I didn't recognise it.  Did a reverse look up and it belongs to "W R Mains" in Calgary.  

Reading the above comments above about this number saying you have won x amount of travel dollars makes me think that this is the same scam that is happening to Telus Mobility people.

Just got a call from this number 2 minutes ago. I'm from Edmonton and it showed up as a 403 area code...assuming around the Calgary area.

Didn't answer.
I never answer.

They need to stop being so money hungry and leave people alone.

Phone call received 12:40 in Mission BC - I am on Rogers network. Didn't recognize, so I didn't answer. Glad I checked out this website!!

Just got a call from this number 403-201-9988 on my unlisted/blocked cell, which I only use for comunication at work with 4 other collegues. Diden't anwser and no message, I also did the reverse look-up and google to this page. I've had several scams contact me in the past 3 months. Curious if anyone has tried to locate who this number is registered too? Perhaps I have some friends who might like to pay him a visit.

Recieved a call from this number offering me travel dollars on my work's direct line that is only given to employees.  We're in Saskatchewan using Sasktel services.

just got this phone number to my cell and using up unwanted minutes. How to stop this.

I live in Vancouver and just got this phone call on my cell saying Valued Canadian tire Customer Just won $3000 dollars travel money press 1 to accept. Canadian tire travel ? Did not do it sounds like a scam.

I got the same call and I pressed 1.  A person came on the phone and asked if I was 25, I asked him if this was through Canadian Tire and he hung up on me.

Answered the call and the machine says: "Hello, since you are a valued canadian tire customer, you have received $3000 travel dollars. Press 1 to accept"

I just hung up, clearly a scam! DO NOT PRESS 1

They've moved on to Saskatchewan and Sasktel numbers, got a call on my cell.

Message was . I am a valued  Canadian Tire customer and have won $2300. dollars  in canadian tire money in travel voucher, to accept press one (1)  I did not press one (1)I hung up.

Got a call from them (I live in Southern Alberta) and they claimed they wanted to give me $3000 travel dollars as a valued -Canadian Tire- customer. I'm with Rogers but ... yeah.

I'm from Vancouver, BC and I just got a call from them, claiming they were Canadian Tires and that I won $3000 dollars and I wish to receive it, I should press 1.  It's clearly a scam.  I hung up and didn't press 1 at all.

just got a call from this number. i usually don't pick up phone calls if i don't know the number. goggled it and found this thread. frigging telemarketers!!!

Told me I'm a valued Canadian Tire customer, I will receive $3000 if I press 1.
I hung up.

Got the call in Edmonton. Message indicated since I'm a valued customer at Canadian Tire and I won $3000 travel dollars.  Sounded like a scam so I hung up.  If Canadian Tire really is responsible for this unwanted call, I may boycott and stop being their 'valued customer'.
