Missed a call from this number - glad i didn't pick up. In Vancouver on a rogers blackberry.

Just received the same call saying I was a valued Canadian Tire customer. Somehow I doubt that because I never give my cell number to any business. Didn't press 1 and the connection finally disconnected automatically. Reported the number to the Canadian DNC list.

Got a call today, June 11 2010 on my cell phone. I didn't answer and they never left a message.

Just got a call, June 11, 2010, saying I was a "Zellers" prefered customer and have won $3000 travel dollars, press one to collect. I'm in Edmonton and a Telus customer.

I got a call from 403-201-9988 and the recorded voice said that because I was a valued Canadian Tire customer that I would get $3000 in travel points if I pressed 1 (I hung up)

if they said I would get Canadian Tire money I might have fallen for it ;-)

Just got the Canadian Tire version of the call today (June 11th, around 5pm), obviously a scam.

i am really sick and tired of these scam artists calling at all hours. These calls are very annoying and i find it bother some when i am busy working or in the middle of something. if the call was that important then they should just leave a message.

Got a call from this # on my cellphone, no message.  From the other postings, sounds like a scam that was just reported on Global news the other night - says you are a valued customer selected to receive a prize, connects you to someone who tries to get personal info out of you.  Beware!

I am with koodoo mobile and i recieved a call from this number aswell. But from the look of things its a good thing i didnt answer.

yes the 403-201-9988 number is back.  403 Area Code is in Alberta but you never really know anymore as computers can make it look like its from there and its really someplace else.  I do believe it is Rogers making these calls.  They call Telus and all the other companys because they want there name out there for you to change to.  I know Telus can be irritating at times but its better than Rogers in so many ways.  See the number on your display......just don't pick it up.  Have a great day.

I didn't press 1, I tried pressing 0 to get a live person but the call was disconnected.

I received this call (Hello as a valued canadian tire customer you have received $3000 travel dollars, press 1 [to be scammed] if you accept.".  I received it a month ago from the 403 area and now today from a new number 1-778-421-7878.  I reported the original number to the Canadian Don Not Call registry as I'm sure that's how scammers got the number in the first place.  Haven't heard anything back.  Seems to be no recourse to put an end to this type of scam because politicians want to leave the door open for them to abuse at election time.
