Call asking you to verify your date of birth. Will not tell you why.  Just Important business matter.

This number keeps on calling few times a day 404-410-7904 i have no idea who they are??it started around the begining of October, and keeps on calling every day!!!!

missed call. no VM.

This unidentified caller from 1-404-410-7904 keeps calling my cell#; which BTW is listed National Do NOT Call Registry list. The caller phones at least 2-three times per day and at about the same times of day, every day. It's been happening fora few day in a row, so far., starting on Nov.19, 2014. I do not answer the calls! The caller doesn't leave a voice mail message, so no way to know who is calling.

Collection company

I have no debt, so it's not a collector. This is just another scam call.

The DNC has too many loopholes (presumed business relationship, charity, political, out of country) and doubt scammers will abide by it to begin with.  Find out how to block future calls and enjoy the peace and quiet.  I set up a Spammers list on my VoIP and it just keeps growing.

The DNC does not have loopholes as you described them.  It was set up to regulate telemarketers who by definition are selling something over the phone.  Since neither charity, political, or informative calls fit that definition, they are not covered by it.  "presumed business relationship" is not mentioned.  That is completely different from the "established business relationship" that is covered.  Even then, a simple "put me on your do not call list" request should also stop those calls.  Technically calls from out of the country are also covered but are extremely hard to enforce because most countries do not cooperate with US law enforcement in any manner.  Criminals never obey any law, least of all this one.
