I just got a phone call from 404-524-0000 and on the caller ID it said "Mciver Law Group"

Person selling toner and ink.  Their call back number they told me was 888-404-7870

I received a call from 404-524-0000 today. This isnt the first time. I get this # calling me 15 to 30 times a week. Im not sure what this is BUT I have reported this to the authorities. They are investigating this and will let me know soon

Yea, I answered this one, Turned out to be a guy from India selling Dish Network satellite TV. He had a real strong South Asia accent and his name was Roger Thompson

I just got a call as well that came through at 5:17pm today, they said they were from worldwide travel company. You know when you donate your car they give you 3 day vacation for free. Well the women tried to tell me that it was a 1 day special and if I was still interested I have to give her my credit card number and she would charge me 15$. These peple sound like little kids. When I went to call the number back the # was disconnceted. These people r f'd up. It has to be a scam. If you ever see 404 524 0000 don't bother picking it up your just wasting your valuable time. [***] is more valuable to me than these idiots.

I received a call at 12:22pm Pacific Time. First time.  No one on the other end. Just the sound of air.

I got a call saying I've been selected for a "scratch card" entry.  I told them it sounded like a scam, and they said "No!  It's not a scam."  Then I asked how they got my number, and they said it was drawn randomly selected.  I told the caller that I am on the "do not call" list, and he apologized and said have a nice day.

I got a call from this number today. I don't usually answer #'s I don't recognize, but I was in the mood to tell someone off so I did. It was some frickin' foreign lady I could barely understand. She was calling, I guess, for my home business, which I use my personal number for. First she asked for my manager and I said, "who exactly did you want?" Then she managed to butcher my last name and started going on...again, couldn't understand a word she said. After about 10 seconds I told her this was a private line and was on the Do Not Call List and not to call it again and then hung up.

I have no patience whatsoever with these idiots especially when they can't speak English well enough to be understood.

And before you think I'm setting myself up for these calls using my personal number for business...no...it's not the kind of business where I actually do business with people who call me or I call them. I do 99% of it through email. But I was required to put my number on my business license application which is a public record and surely is harvested by idiot telemarketers.

Got a call from 404-524-0000, Dec. 8, 2009, 1:19pm.PST. No message left. I have caller ID, called number back, it said this number is no longer in service. How do I report this?

Received a call from the number 1-404-524-0000 Ga. The man said he was from Business Web Design. My husband said he was not interested. He offered my husband a 30 day trial and said he would need a $5.00 start up fee. We probably received a total of 10 back to back calls from this number within a twenty minute time span.

Rec call to my cell at noon pacific time. No msg left.

We keep getting calls from this number and the person can't even speak english.  They just ask for the Owner!  I just hung up but they keep calling and we are on the do not call list and we can't figure out what the heck company this is.

I got a call today from 404-524-0000 . I looked and didnt reconize the number . No voice mail was left . I think all cell phone numbers are now public . I have been getting more telemarketing calls now !!!!!

At 3:20 12-26-08 had this call that wanted to place an ad for me on the internet for FREE. They used the contact information that I had used last week on the Craigs-Listing. I hung up. It sounded like a call center, woman with a sight overseas pitch.

Same thing mentioned above, call to my house informing me of a scratch card giveaway (Ford Explorer, $2500, some big vacation and i think something else) for some kind of banking company or something asking if they had the correct number and address.  No big deal at first you can find that in the phone book, further into the conversation wasn't so sure.  asked again what company they were from something like "federal financial"-lady barely spoke English.  VERY scripted.  Soon as they heard that I was in the 18-24 age group they immediately said that they would call back at a later time.


Recommendation: If it really is a scratch card, tell them to mail it to you and you'll contact them.  OR you'll meet them at their office.  If it's legit they should have a building-a well known one- and you can google it/ city directory or something of the sort.  AND get a phone number to reach THEM.

an hour later i get a call from said telephone number asking me
for business tax numbers and very personal information

then they called back 3 times and i just let it ring

i goolgled the number it is from atlanta georgia
then i read other peoples experiences with getting calls from this number and people were saying its a calling card.

here is my thoery
obviously they havea vast amount of telemrketing tactics to try to get people's personal info to F#@! us over
the reason the calls are coming from a calling card are for the reason that we cannot call they back nor trace them
so if someone is duped into something with them you are FU@#ED

so bascially all seniors mentally handicapped people and blondes are in danger

someone needs to shoot these people in the face before they breed

it is a calling card.  my b-friend...who is in a sober living called me and this was the number that came up.

Not all calls from this #s are scams.....sometimes as to do with the Calling Cards...have had enough experieces in that aspect...had friend both within & outside the country call with the same Caller ID..@ first i was nervous just as many are now...but in time i was made to understand it's d calling cards....For Examples..I receive this call from London Everyday on the caller ID:00123456789 and @ was scared to pick it up bt later was told by my friends & colleagues that it was the calling card they got....So lets all be reasonable & Smart in our actions...That missed call sometimes might just be the Ticket to a new job, Financing or something.
