I got a call from my husband who is in Iraq on this number.  He uses phone cards.

I am getting tons of calls today from this number for some reason as well and it is annoying me.

just got a call from this number. I answered and it was a freind who called me from europe. he was using his US phone though! wierd!

SOOOO...I also got the "call" today from this 404 524 0000 number, the man I talked to said that he is from Melbourne Austrailia, he also told me he is an artist, (as I am) and he wanted me to pick up a payment from UPS in Girard Ohio for the sum of $3450.00.  The payment was to be picked up by me, deposited into my account, and I keep $345.00 (as commission) to his "art sale" and send the remaining amount to him.

Of course I'd have never done it, but I wanted to play along all the while knowing it was a scheme.


I looked up the number and I come to this webpage, which is strange to know that there are so many involved with it.  What do we all have in common?

I got a call from this number on 1/29/08 at 8:29 pm.  I didn't notice my phone was ringing so I didn't pick up.

I live in north California too.  That's kinda weird.

I wouldn't recommend calling the number back, because they might be purposely calling people and getting them to call back so they can charge them for calling.

This has to be a scam--guys name that is calling me is named jermaine says he works in amsterdam laying communication lines.  I met him on a matching website.  He wanted me to CALL him back on a satalite phone--that satalite number is 2348038679297 the digits in front were either 011 or 0112.  He has also called me from "private number" and unknown.

Just received a call from this number 2/4/08 at 1:05pm.  I have a San Jose number - cell phone and am in San Jose,CA and am on the 'do not call registry' as well.  I did not answer the phone and the caller never left a message.

i have been getting calls from the number above at midnight mountain time, and when i call back it says disconnected. How can i stop this it is very annoying

Well I know the person who called me from this number, the only reason I know is because I didn't pick up the call and they left a voicemail..that's how I got to this page, because I googled it..I'm in LA,Ca..and he lives in Whitter, so I don't have a number to call him back but I"ll ask him and if I find out I'll repost something on here.

These people call every day.  I don't answer any more.  How do I get them blocked.  I am tired of these telemarketers.

I just got 2 calls from this number and i live in mn...i get a ton of these calls i just tell them to go [***] themselfs and that seems to work (they still call but it makes me feel better)

I have received a few calls from this number before -- a few months back.  Yesterday, I received another call.  The calls are coming in at my home number, not cell.  I have never answered the calls, but as a few of you have done, I called the number only to find out it was "disconnected".  My internet research revealed the "Sonali Corporation" as a company offering credit card services.  Whatever the truth, experience shows something about this number is not right.  I live in Knoxville, TN.

My wife just got a call from this number on our home land line.  We have caller ID and she didn't recognize the number so she didn't pick up.  But the message was from her sister in Japan.  My wife called her back asking if she were in Atlanta, Georgia because that's where she traced the number to via the area code.  This is definitely a scam/phishing number and NO information should be give out to anyone at this extension.

404-524-0000 called me at 1:30 am on Friday 2-8-08 on my cell for the first time.

I didn't return the call.  I'm in Claremont, Ca.  A suburb about 32 east of LA.  I have never seen the number before.

I called the above number and got no answer.\ I can't block the 0000 number either.  My wife works nights, and to have 5-7 calls a day from them is making me mad

I got another call tonight.  After 10 calls while my wife was sleeping for her night nursing job, I got mad and answered to call cussing.  I mean loud.  It was the first time they answered.  I heard a weak voice on the other end say hello.  I asked them who the hell they were and why the hell were they calling me 10 times a day.  He answered he was with MC...paused and hung up.
So there is someone at the other end.  And you have to get mad and curse to get them to answer.  I want it to stop, and if I have to answer like this til I go hoarse I will do it.  Who in the heck are these guys?

thought is wasn't on the level, so I didn't answer it.

my boyfriend lives in italy. our plan is that he calls me and hangs up after a few calls.  i see that he calls, and then i call him back with my Sprint calling card.  tonight i got three calls from this 404-524-0000 number, and so i finally answered the third call and it was my boyfriend!  he's calling from a cell phone.  so we don't really know what's going on.  i got a few of these calls over the last month.  i guess it must have been him the other times too.

404-524-0000 keeps calling me  5X a day for 2 weeks now.
Its good that this website warns me about this number. They might scum me up.

Called me and heard voices, but could not understand anything.  I've been getting calls every morning and every night from this number and two other numbers.  Anyone know how to stop this?
