debt collector called 12x in one hour

They call everyday with a short and quick message. Something to do with vehicle. I am not sure what they need, but have asked to call back urgently with a reference number. The message goes so quick, that I could not jot down the call back number thus far in last 3 days.

"Hertz" calls looking for a car that was never returned. I never rented one either. It's a scam people.

Spoofed a Hertz office number too.

They call from (405) 232-3900 phone number on Oklahoma City, OK and left v mail wanting me to call back to a different number- (800) 552-8482. They never say who they are or reason they are calling. They give some sort of reference number to give them when calling back. Scam!!!

Got a Automated call stating i have not returned my rental car.

Scam caller about a rental car that was NEVER returned. I have not rented a car since 1995.
I'm calling the Arizona attorney General and reporting this scam.

same as others .. car rental not returned from the "Vehicle Control Department"... yeah, right. I'll get right on that.

Called because car rental has not been returned. I participated in the Hertz Rent2Buy program.. I decided to buy the car so I obviously will not be returning it. Hertz needs to update their system better.

Said they were with Hertz and I had not turned in car, gave me a ID number so fast could not write it down. Seems like a scam (although I did rent from Hertz last week). Hertz emails me all the time, don't see why they would call now.

This number has called me twice, but similar to what other people reported, the voice message was very quick and I was not able to write down the 800 number or the rental car record number. The call was also for rental car not returned. Quite suspicious! I haven't rented any Hertz car for 2 years.

Same as everyone else. I have never rented a car from Hertz. Robo-call saying to call an 800 number and to provide them with a rental agreement number to discuss the return of a vehicle that was rented out and never returned..

Pre-recorded message. Has been calling every day for about 2 weeks. The message is fast and doesn't give me enough time to write it down. 800# and a reference#. "My car rental is late."
I called the 405 number and a Hertz representative answered. She could not find anything that matched my phone number (she could have been in on the scam).

Same as the others but what is weird is that I am a lyft driver using the Hertz rental program. My rental is not overdue but when I call the number it is Hertz and the reference number is the same number on my Hertz contract! If its a scam it is hard to see what they are getting out of it.

Since obviously have never heard of "Caller ID Spoofing" then you should take the time to look it up and learn about it.  Then tell us how you can guarantee 100% that this number is not being spoofed.  I'll wait for your answer....well not really because you will never come back to give one.
