Got the same voice mail. They said I owe $2,400 and need to pay it now or they are coming to get the car. I did rent from hertz but it is not pass due and I absolutely do not owe over $2000. Has to be a scam. If it turns out to really be from hertz I'm calling the BBB.

Well, if you rented a car from Hertz that is paid up and your still using it, why wouldn't you have called the Hertz Office you rented from and ask them about it?  There is nothing the BBB can do if a scammer got your info, but I would have been right on the phone asking Hertz how anyone would know about a recent rental if it wasn't them who called.
