Has anyone else received a threatening phone call from 405/237-4481 saying they are with the social security administration?  And that you are to appear before a federal magistrate.

I just got a call wanting me or my criminal attorney to return a call to the Social Security Administration.

I just received one. Freaked me out! I've never been arrested. Thought I was going to have a heart attack bc i dont owe SSO. Still, did not stop the panic.  I want to punch them.

I got this message, it was left on my voice message " Hi calling you from the Legal Department of social security administration. My federal batch ID number is SSA 9165. Purpose of this call is regarding an enforcement action which has been executed by the US treasury against your SSN. Ignoring this will be an intentional attempt to avoid initial appearances before the magistrate judge or exempt jury for a federal criminal offense so before this matter goes to federal claims court house or you get arrested. Kindly call us back on our number 405-237-4481. I repeat 405-237-4481 as soon as possible."  Has anyone else gotten this type of calls?  I assume it is a SCAN

This is a classic scam! Guys do not fall for it.

I got the phone call which was a computer generated voice.  The social security administration will send letters rather than phone calls.  This is a SCAM

Got a threatening computer generated message from this number as well...mine said it was from the IRS

I got that call today, it's for sure a scam, the IRS only communicates with people by mail. And I don't even have any assets to seize! I'm gonna call them back and tell them I'll pay as soon as I get my check from the Nigerian oil prince.

I also received a call from 405-237-4481 says it was unlawful for me to hang up and if I did it was a federal offense.  They said they were  with Social Security.

100% Scam. SSA works through the mail and a local office   would be your main point of contact. SSA never uses robots calls in any capacity.

I received a call this morning and the lady said her name was officer Lisa Smith badge#APR1227. She kept on saying I’ll be arrested if I didn’t give my statement. I told her how about I just call the police station since she was already on the line and if they needed to take me in I’ll gladly go in and call my lawyer. She then said “ ma’am you don’t want to do that, the lawyer and police officer can be involved”. Hmmm so I have a warrant for my arrest and didnt know about it... ok and can’t trust my local authorities. This Lisa lady then said let me call you from the SSN 1800 number. I think she lost my number, she hasn’t called back.

I got the call just now from same number saying same matter in computerized voice

yup! exact message I received just today.

the person's name I talked to was Anthony Marshall who had an Indian accent.

I to received a call from this number. I just started receiving social security.
