Received a call from this number stating that they were calling from/on behalf of Freddie Mac and wanted to verify a document that involved a recent home loan. As it turns out, the info they were asking about happens to be part of a legal matter, so I thought I should answer their question. Now I know that I should not have spoken to them.

This company is calling my work phone number multiple times a day. Each time I request to be remove from their call listing they hang up before I can finish my statement.

A Brianna left a message saying she was calling from Freedom Mortgage, gave a false name for an employment verification.  But when calling back, the number is for Digital Risk. This is a total SCAM

I received a call from 407-215-2900 today 02/28/19. It was to verify the gift amount and relationship to the borrower for a mortgage loan closed 3 months ago. They asked to speak to Susana C and that the phone call was to verify mortgage loan on my daughters name.  Not a scam.

We received an email from Digital Risk looking for employment verification for one of our employees. The request was a bit unusual, as it was sent to the Founder of our company versus HR, which our employees would know to reference for such activities.

When we called the number and extension, they asked us which employer we were as "there are a number of employers reference in the file". Before answering the question, we asked which employee it was in reference to, but they refused to tell us before providing employer information. Smelling a scam, we wished the agent well and hung up.

Got a call from this number to our corporate headquarters main number. The caller did not identify as calling from Digital Risk, only saying she was calling to talk to someone in HR about an employment verification as The Work Number "is not updated and does not have our client listed as working at your company." She argued about being put through to someone in HR, about our company not updating our records in The Work Number, and about what are they supposed to do without talking to our HR....   um lady, your problem not ours...  our company pays for employment verification services so our managers are not talking to yahoos like you about employee information. Why would they also still take these kinds of calls from scammers like you? Ridiculous....  Seriously, are there really any businesses in 2020 that let their managers discuss employee information over the phone with random callers? No because that is a recipe for liability, fraud, and irresponsible with confidential personal identification information - which is exactly what scammers like this are looking for.

I am getting calls regarding a request for a client's tax information.  This is not something I can give to anyone with my client's written approval.

Received a fax and then a call looking for information on someone and if they are employed.  the paper work dated over 10 years old and when we refused the information to be given they requested first and last name of whom they are speaking with  we told them they are calling from a private number and they are not legit and they hung up.
