I received a text from callatvtext.com that stated "Hello! Please call 140073080057 your attention is required

I did not text back.

i received the same text, does anyone know what this is?

Just got one myself.  Any idea what it is?

Also received a text from this number around the same time.

I think we just block them.  Looks like spam.

I have a verizon cell and just got it.  Ran the # in whitepages.com and there was NOTHING

the wife and I both just received a text from this number a few minutes ago. I called the number and it was a recording stating that a limit has been placed on my debit card, I didn't listen anymore, I just hung up.

Anyone notice the cities of origin? Around the Disneyworld area. Been to disneyworld lately? I have, 2 years ago. Hope they aren't messing with my bank account. I am calling my bank tomorrow morning to find out.

ditto....... received a call from this # a few minutes ago which also said "your attention is required"  I also have a Verizon phone but did not text them back.  Sounds like just another scam!

I received a text from this number about an hour ago.  I called the number back from a public phone and got a recording telling me that my debit card had been suspended and to reactivate it press 1.  I just held the phone and didn't press anything and after a brief pause a recording asked me to enter my debit card number, so I hung up.  I called Verizon and told them what had happened and about this forum--customer service told me that if they get several reports on this they will open an investigation in their fraud department.  So if you have gotten a text like this, please take a moment and report it to Verizon so they will get enough complaints to escalate the issue for investigation.  This is a phishing scam and it needs to be stopped.

Please list the phone number or web site that you used to contact verizon. Thank you for the info

These guys are criminals and need to be placed behind bars. An investigation is definitely in order then Tar and Feather them and run them out of town. Someone out there knows where these criminals hide. Time to hit them hard where it hurts ... in the pocket book. Bubba is waiting for these punks in jail cell 301.

just got off the phone with verizon wireless. they want this message forwarded to them. use "phishing@verizonwireless.com" for the address to forward it to. they are watching this.Someone is using verizons website to place these calls to verizon cuctomers.
