- MegText message to my cell (which is StraightTalk but on Verizon's network) from "call@vtext.com" saying: "Hello! Please call 14073080057 your attention is required." Decided to look it up online first. After reading this thread I've forwarded the message to phishing@verizonwireless.com.
We are heading into the holiday season now. These kinds of messages and calls will probably be more common; they like to scare people into thinking their cards have been suspended at a time when they're using them a lot for holiday shopping. phishing@verizonwireless.com - KevinYep..same mesg as everyone else's..out of curiosity, I did press 1 to see what was next..as has already been reported, the recorded mesg said for me to enter my 16 digit debit card number because it had been "limited".. do the idiots actually think people will give their credit/debit card number to a recording?
