Keep getting messages to call them.  My attention is required.

I just got it too.. It said that my "limited debit card", which I have no idea what that means, had been incorrectly loaded, press one for funds to be redirected... I hung up and called my bank to make sure my bank had not been hacked!

I got the same number message to call the 14073080057. I didnt call the number. on my cell phone it said call@vtext.com/ I have had several of these and have not called them back because I don't call anyone I don't know.

checking the reverse # look up says its a land line in Orlando, FL.

Beware the owner of this phone # WE HAVE feinds in your location, and they are on the hunt. I hope the law gets you first, you will not like these othe people.

Text message to my cell (which is StraightTalk but on Verizon's network) from "call@vtext.com" saying: "Hello! Please call 14073080057 your attention is required." Decided to look it up online first. After reading this thread I've forwarded the message to phishing@verizonwireless.com.

We are heading into the holiday season now. These kinds of messages and calls will probably be more common; they like to scare people into thinking their cards have been suspended at a time when they're using them a lot for holiday shopping. So they'll panic and call the # without thinking about it. Identity theft.

Received a text msg from 407-308-0057 -- said "Hello! Please call 14073080057 your attention is required.  Did not respond.

This phone/text number is the perpetrator of bank card & bank account fraud. DO NOT provide any information to this phone/text number. Please ignore it and feel free to report it as a fraud on websites like this one. If you have a concern about your bank card or credit card – always call the support number printed on the back of your card.

Rec a text to call this number. I called to see what it was. It says there is an error with your debit card, to please enter your card number. HUGE scam...trying to steal credit card info.

I called my bank because the number said I needed to call to activate my debt card. My bank said it is a scam. Do not provide the number any info.

Just received the same text.. Thank you everyone for the great advice.. forwarded it to verizonwireless and alerted others of the scam.

Just recd same text from same phone #..... Did not respond. Great site.  Will use it again.

Yep..same mesg as everyone else's..out of curiosity, I did press 1 to see what was next..as has already been reported, the recorded mesg said for me to enter my 16 digit debit card number because it had been "limited".. do the idiots actually think people will give their credit/debit card number to a recording?
