- barbara| 3 repliesI RECEIVED A CALL, WAS TOLD I BETTER CALL BEFORE END OF THE DAY, I DON"T EVEN KNOW WHO THIS IS. WHY ARE THEY CALLING MY CELL PHONE?
- Caller: 407-792-0420
- LisaI looked them up after speaking to my attorney,..they are a debt collection agency in florida and they sue accounts in their office..im happy to say i paid mine off but i got all the information first.
- JimGot a voicemail message today too. Said it was a first attempt to deliver documents and to please call Michael Phillips at Andrew Cowan (Cohen?) and Associates.
When I called and got Michael, he wanted to know my name and phone number. Instead I asked him what type of business this was. His response after three attempts was "I don't have time for this nonsense. Have a nice day."- Caller: Andrew Cowan & Associates
- Call type: Debt collector
- KathySame basically as Jim's above. "Got a voicemail message today too. Said it was a first attempt to deliver documents and to please call Michael Phillips at Andrew Cowan (Cohen?) and Associates. " But I do not call back. I ignore. I pay my debts and even if I didn't they are so vague on anything. Why would I call them anyhow. I am NOT missing a thing. I hope this is only the first and last call.
- Caller: Andrew Cowen and Associates
- MindyMine is exactly the same as Jim's too. I'll ignore it too.
- Caller: Andrew Cohen & Asscociates
- Rich| 1 replyI also got this exact same message on my cell phone. A number I give out to nobody so they shouldn't be calling on it. Also, I don't trust calls that doesn't use my name in the message so that I know they are really trying to reach me. This tells me it's a scam of some sort to get your name and number for something.
- Caller: Andrew Cohen & Asscociates
- JoeLooks like a recent pattern developing here, they left the "first attempt to contact you" message everybody else got. I called them back, but got an answering machine. I didn't leave any info. I have no outstanding debt I'm aware of. Sure seems like a scam to me. My only concern is how they got my private cell number.
- Jayne| 1 replyI do not have any debts in collections so should not be receiving these calls! First they called my cell phone and home phone many, many times, now they are calling my work number, which I thought was against the law.
- Caller: Andrew Cohen & Associates
- Call type: Debt collector
- kim replies to JayneIt only becomes agains the law when you or your employer tells them to cease, and they refuse.
- Dutch| 1 replyThey have left me the same message. I looked up Andrew Cohen and Associates and found that they are one and the same as Gregory Adams and Associates in Boca Raton, Florida. A quick check with the Boca Raton BBB shows that they are not accredited by the BBB and had an "F" rating due to dozens of complaints against them. Bizapedia.com reports the company name of Andrew Cohen and Associates as fictitious. Contact your state Attorney General's Office and report them.

- JoeNice sleuthing Dutch. Figured it was something along those lines. You wonder how people who try and pull this stuff off aren't constantly sued?
- Julesgot the same message as everyone else. i will report them to the DO NOT CALL registry.. so annoying...
cheers - GabeJust got the same message like everyone else. I was getting messages like this from someone called David Rosenberg before, also from Florida. I don't have any debts in collections same as probably everyone else here on this page. Seems like a bunch of scammers. Get a life and a real job! In the meantime I will continue to ignore calls from unknown numbers... I think at a certain point if they call you enough, it should be considered harassment. Thanks for the BBB info Dutch! I think and hope that it's only a matter of time till the FBI shows up at their doorstep and nails them for fraud or malpractice.
- Caller: Andrew Cohen and Associates
- Laura| 3 repliesHave gotten repeated calls from this number, each time leaving a message. I reported them to the FTC for harassment. It is my understanding that under FDCPA rules and regulations, they can only call once and leave a message and then they have to wait for 3 days before they can try again.
- Caller: Andrew Cohen and Associates
- bethstarted getting these calls several months ago from Gregory Adams and Associates researched them and found them to be a scam trying to collect discharged debts called them and told the man named David Rosenberg that if they called my number again i would file harassment charges at which time he cussed me out and hung up...the calls stopped until today but now are from Michael Phillips from Andrew Cohen and Associates with the same message as the first
