They start calling around 8am and stop sometime in the evening. I get calls nearly every day. I have told them numerous times to stop calling me, that I am already attending another college, and have been for 2 years. They just don't stop. Sometimes the same person calls and claims they have not called yet! Seven days a week these people harass me.

Just as an FYI: I used to work @ the Orlando Kaplan location.  I'll be honest with you - careerbuilder, monster, and other job websites send us your information, as will some online surveys.  If you didn't request it, all you need to do is pick up the phone and say 'Listen, I don't know how my number came to you.  Please put me on your Do Not Call list.'  98% of the people there have enough integrity to say 'Thank you' and remove your number.
Picking up and immediately hanging up is not a request for the Do Not Call list, nor is ignoring the call.  

They're really not pushy salesmen... They might ask why you're not interested and the least you could do is be nice about it and let them know that you weren't looking for school information.  They're not there to trick you into anything - they're just doing their jobs.

As for those saying things about weekend calls - people request school information 24/7, so there are people scheduled 7 days a week.  For all they know, you really do want to go to school and your only day off is Sunday.  That's why they try to reach you then.  Again, just politely ask them to stop and they will.


Kaplan is really one of the only schools out there with Integrity - and I don't even work there anymore and can say that.  Just talk to them, they'll help you out (whether it's school or removal from the list).

What a load of BS - you don't work there anymore.  Your just worried people are going to report them to the FEDERAL Do Not Call List (as they should) and get this joke of a diploma mill hammered with an order to stop their telemarketing spam.

This is weird that it's the first time I've typed an entire phone number into Google search and ended up finding this page with everyone talking about the mysterious number...  I got a call with no message and decided to check the area code.  When I saw there were a few locations for the same area code I decided to type the rest of the number and found the page.

dont know who they are and im really sure they dont want to piss me off

This is from Kaplan University. I had called them and requested for them to remove my number and they still call!! I will be reporting them to the BBB.

I had visited a site looking for scholarships for nursing and unwittingly applied for this call list from 50 different colleges. Kaplan University seems to be the harrassing one though. I get at least 10 phone calls from them daily and they start as early as 6 AM! I have already told them to stop calling me and now they keep calling and hanging up when I answer

Receiving continuous calls from Kaplan University also. I looked up information online for schools also. I will report to the unwanted calls list each time they call.

These ppl won't stop calling me I just filled out an application to get some info on colleges and now they won't stop!

If they don't stop go online and record this message that one u no when you it says do do do i'm sorry you have reached a number that is no longer in service works everytime already telemarketers done stopped and it only been two days

I have been getting calls from this number for months. I never answer, and there is never a message. I am on  the national do not call list, and am still getting calls almost daily from this number.

I live in Hawaii and received a phone call on December 7 and 10, 2012.  On one of those calls, I told them not to call me anymore, but they didn't listen because I received another call on December 12, 2012.  Very frustrating.

Does putting yourself on the do not call list not work? These people call me more than twice a day on most days and it's getting really annoying. I can't figure out how to block their number when they call me and I don't want to go to school their either. I don't know how to get these people to leave me alone!

They won't hire someone with an online degree but they will hire someone who sounds as dumb as a box of rocks and can't spell to save their families lives! LMAO!!! CLASSIC EPIC FAIL!!!
