Don't answer calls that you don't recognize.  Get the Mr Number app and block them.  The calls will stop.

In addition to my previous post, I called the missed call number back and it also stated that the number was no longer in service.

What does Mr stand for?

Good luck with those losers at the "Do Not Call Registry".
That is a waste of time. I have filed numerous complaints against different companies and phone numbers  calling me and it doesn't stop.

Called my cell a few days ago. I'm on my state and federal DNC Registry. I rejected the call straight to voicemail. They didn't leave a  message.
Caller ID, Kissimmee, FL. A Florida vacation sounds about 70 degrees warmer than I saw all of January.

No voicemail.  just annoying

This # called me at 12:21pm today.  No voicemail left and it only rang a few times.

Have gotten numerous calls from this number. rings a couple of times but hangs up before I have a chance to answer. No message is left.

I looked up Mr number in the App Store. There is no such app in the US store now. There used to be one, but it's been removed. There are 2 reverse lookup apps. One called CallerSmart and another called Reverse a Look Up by White Pages which is a stripped down version of the White Pages app.
I suggest the full version White Pages app. It's 95% free with one pricey option. It is very effective for lookikg up people or businesses in forward or reverse and by address. There are other nice features. The information returned may be outdated or incorrect. There is a complaint section for scam callers as well.

This is not a telemarketer but a vacation scam.  Don't give them any information if they reach you or you reach them. Also, FYI, even if you're on the no call list, if you register for a prize giveaway of any kind, (car, tools, portraits, etc) the form you fill out gives them the right for their companies to call you with telemarketing stuff and to sell your contact information to others.  So, don't register for stuff.  This vacation scam usually involves getting your credit card number to "hold" your reservation.  No such thing.  You can go online to investigate it further.

Continously receiving calls no messages/

I got a call from this number 2/3/14 @ 9:48 a.m. Central Time... when I called it back from a landline and cell phone it said that the phone # had been disconnected.. weird..

I called this number back and I received the disconnected tone  They left no voicemail.  It's from Kissamee, FL.

Called this a.m.--missed call.  Left no message.

This number just called my cell (18:10 CT, 2/3/13).  I didn't answer, but called it back right away, and got a recording that "This number has been disconnected."

I NEVER answer unknown numbers.  Once they get you to pick up you and confirm it is a live number, more calls are sure to follow.  If it is someone/something important they will leave a message.

My son & I both received calls on our cells from this number today. As I tell my family, if you don't know the number, don't answer. Also, since they ask you to stay on hold I wouldn't be surprised if this is one of those numbers that charge your phone bill if you answer & then charge $10 or so for every minute you stay on the line.
