This number called me every day in the morning and no one answers.  I Called back and no one answers. Im fed up with this and Blocked the following phone numbers:

Received several calls from this number -usually late in the day. One call came in after 9 pm. I don't  answer and they eventually hang up, leaving no message. I will now block this number.

This caller has been calling me for around two weeks now and about a week in I picked up one of the calls. However the moment I picked up they just hang up on me. After that, I picked up once more and the same thing happened. But then I called back and all I got from the company was,"I'm sorry this number is no longer in use."

[WHO ARE THEY?]

408-264-XXXX Caller ID hijacked numbers. The following companies 1) to 7) are said to be associated and hired telemarketers with these scam calls. The telemarketers they hire not only hijacks private numbers but also violates several FTC laws.


[WHAT THEY DO?]

They have been calling on one of these numbers during weekdays and Sundays with average of 10 to 20 calls per day. They keep switching the last four digits repeating the same calls. The number uses the caller ID of innocent third person as a victim and pretend they are not scams. The same old method when you pick up there is no one there and hungs up. When you call back the number says it is of a terminated or disconnected line. National Do Not Call Registry means nothing to them.

For months I've been receiving calls from various numbers twice a day--often with no one on the other end. When someone is on the line, it's always a telemarketer from a different solar company. Each time, I tell the caller to take my number off of their list, I block the number, and I don't receive a call from THAT number anymore, but then I start receiving calls from a NEW number! Each time, I block the number, and each time the calling stops--only to start from a new number in a week or so. Today I received calls from this number. Agreed that something needs to be done!

This number calls twice a day for days and never leaves a message.

Just received a call:  from a solar company who says they are calling from PG&E.

It started for me a few days ago and it's relentless. Usually I pick up and no one is there. It's deceiving because I reside in the 408 area code and my kid's friends often have names that I don't recognize. Today I picked up and there was a click and then someone - clearly from another country in a call center - asked for me by first and last name. It was a male voice and I asked his name. He said he was Joshua Lynch. Then he asked me if I was Claudia's daughter (apparently I have a young voice!) and I said no, this is Claudia. He hung up. I called back and received the same "phone has been disconnected" as others have reported here.

Never have any of these calls tried to sell me anything nor tell me where they were calling from. Just FYI

I agree but they probably won't care except they have been harassing a lot of people!!!

I have gotten several phone calls a day in the last couple weeks from this number and no one is there.  Can we please prevent them from calling again?  I am sure it is a marketing or prank call.

Also called 4 times today, no one there and hung up after I answered , I think we should file a complaint with the police..

I'm receiving calls from 408.264.3227 several times a day, with no one on the other end. When I called back and received the same "phone has been disconnected" as others have reported here.  Agreed that something needs to be done!

I am getting 3 to 4 calls a day from Diane Miller. When I answer nobody speaks. When I call the number back, the number has been discontinued or is no longer in service. How do people make calls from a number no longer in service. It is very annoying.

This number calls us multiple times a day. No message. Number does not pick up if I try calling back.

I received multiple calls a day from that number. No one answer when I pick up and if I try to call back I get a message that this number has been disconnected.

I had to registered  in FCC to block the call. it is not working.I should report to police.

Received calls from this number in December 6x/daily...mostly hang ups. Finally got somebody live when I answered one of the calls and told them to take me off of their call list.  They wanted to talk about lowering my electric bill.  I said I was interested.   They were very persistent and I continued to tell them to take me off of their call list. The calls stopped for a few weeks.

Got 12 calls yesterday....talked to 4 different people and told them all to take me off of their call list.  The other 8 calls were just hang ups.  Very annoying.
