He did the same thing to me today. Called telling me I got a free $9400 grant from the California Grant Treasury Dept but I needed to go to Wal-Mart to buy a $250 iTunes card to give him my bank info. I said there's no f*cking way I'm giving that to you. I blocked the number only to have them call from two different numbers. These people are scam artists.

That's exactly what just happened to me. He had ALL my info including the residential address I just moved to. I'm angry that this guy has all my info.

I been receiving phone calls from this number all week. An when i answer no one talks.

I usually tell them i'm a retired FBI agent and I have had you on the phone long enough to trace your call.That's usually stops them

I don't like people harassing me all the time on my private cell phone there is suppost to be a law against this kind of stuff it better be stopped I get calls out of state in nearly every state

They do not have anything free,it's a scam for your credit card for s& h,which they said it was free,they are scammers,untrsutworthy.

I don't answer phone numbers I don't recognize so therefore I have not answered this number which has my phone several times never leaving messages. But what my question is has to do with the area code I do not live in the 408 area, however I used to many years ago... anybody else live outside the 408 area code getting these calls?

Got a call from this number and they demanded to know who I was. Very strange. What kind of scam are they trying to pull?

They called me claiming to be the Federal Grant Department. Last I checked, federal grants come from DC, not CA.

I'm not sure if this report was sent up but I received a death threat from this number today I am a US soldier. The person on the line told me he was a scammer and a very bad person and that he kills people. Threaten to kill me and my family. I have filed a police report on this number to help track this company or person's down. Be careful out there and watch your six just in case this threat is real.

They need to stop calling or they will have to pay

These idiots have called my phone at least a dozen times a day everyday for the past month.  The few times I have answered out of frustration they are foreign, pretty non-English speaking ignorant idiots!  1st of all they ask for me by name (the best they can pronounce it), they get VERY IRATE because I will NOT give them a simple YES this is me which leads me to believe this is one of those phone scams that by saying yes they record you saying that then use that elsewhere as your verbal consent.  Well not getting it from me!  Well with that being said, they get irate and tell me they need a simple Yes if this is me they are talking to.  My reply is who is this?  Each time I have been told, You dumb [***] it's the FBI IRS department and you owe us money and we need it now!  I started laughing so hard the first time and the idiot on the other end in his badly broken English said what you laughing at you F***ing small [***] man?  I said well for one the FBI & IRS are two different departments.  2, you called me and I am a female, & 3 thank you for the laugh I was having a bad day but now I have a great recording to forward to the Michigan State Police with two different phone numbers you keep harassing me with daily, so have a wonderful day Mr small dick man and I hung up on him...  Calls stopped for a couple weeks but have picked back up with a vengeance the last couple days.  Here is the other number but they say pretty much the exact same thing if you answer...  (410) 800-0980  Both are outgoing numbers only!

They have called 3 tomes today.  The first time, I asked not to be called again.  The second time, I could hear people in the background talking and they hung up.  The last time they called, I once again asked to be taken off the call list....this time the jerk told me to sick his d**k.  I asked what he said and he said it again....I told him it was to small.  Why is this tolerated and how can this be stopped????

Received a call for my husband and when I said he wasn't home and if I could take a massage and I was his wife. He asked when he would be and I told him I wasnt sure. This is when it took a drastic turn..... He proceeded to tell me that he was going to come KINAP ME until my husband returned and could pay the ransom. I told him to go F@#$ himself, and he began asking how often I get laid and if I like big [***]. I stated Im not sure what type of b/s scam he is trying to pull but obviously this is one of the worst scam calls Ive EVER received.. He proceeded to threaten me, and as my husband walked in I told him what was going on. He took the phone and handled the call from there.
  I have had plenty of SCAM calls over the years, but I have never been threatened to be kidnapped  and raped. I hope that they find who this despicable man is and throw him in prison so he  know first hand what being RAPED feels like and then he may not find it soo funny to threaten.
