Knew my name, said I had been "chosen by the government to receive $9,000 in federal grant money that I didn't have to pay back". I told him I'm not interested because it sounds like a scam. He muttered something unintelligible and hung up.

Called my phone today and he threatened to come to my house and rape me. I recorded the whole conversation. These people are freakin weirdos

Has called me several times today and never left a message. When I eventually answered, I was a foreign man essentially telling me he wanted to talk to me about sex.

This person has continued to call me all day for the past week. I finally answered and they said they were looking for a name that wasn't mine. I realized they'd gotten my # from an online survey I took. I put in fake information, but I wasn't able to put a fake phone number. I told them not to call again, and thankfully, they haven't called me since.

Thank you for making a report. These stories are terrible. I've had to block 6 numbers after constant calls over the last couple days!

Received 3 calls from this number today. I don't answer #'s I don't recognize. They left no voicemail. Pretty sure the same company keeps calling me because I get 3 calls all from different numbers within 30 minutes of each other. Other #'s that called: 315-230-6288 & 857-277-6744. All now blocked.

Received several phones calls from this number.  They know my name and tell me they are from the federal goverment and that I have been chosen to receive $9000 that I don't have to pay back.  I told them I work for the federal government and this was news to me. I  told him I'm not that stupid to believe the government will give me money for free.  I then told him they were a pain in the a $$ and not to call me again.

Latest scam is they say the are calling about a grant, and they are going to transfer a whopping sum if cash into the debit card account, they ask for the routing numbers so on and so forth, then they cal, you back saying the funds have been transfered' so check to make sure they don't transfer any funds so they cause a scene at the check stand cause the debit card crimes back with a N.S.F. its just a crank call by a bunch of immigrants from another country screwing with us natives, most of the time the sound like they are speaking with a mouth full of [***].

This is one of 12 phone calls from different phone numbers over the past 3 days that are all the same. Heavy accented person telling me they're from the US Gov. and I've been randomly selected to receive $9400. Whereas I immediately say "Since you are the government, then you know my address, just send me the F**cking check!" Then I hang up.

This number has called along with another number.  Same accent, sounds Asian.  Asking for Sharon.  Keep saying no Sharon.  They get mad and say you sound like Sharon.  Ugh!  Blocking them, however messing with them sounds fun too!

Received multiple calls. No voicemail or ability to return call.  I have told them I am was a Federal employee. Did not deter them. I also have said the next call is being referred to the Attorney General's Office.

Have gotten 2 calls from this # idk who they are but when you try calling back it says the # is disconnected. The # is obviously spoofed since you can't call back I've blocked them. The way I see it if its important they'll leave a message if not then don't bother calling again! How am I to know who you are and why you're calling if you don't leave a message? It only takes a minute to leave a VM. I don't answer to numbers I don't recognize if its important leave a VM, if no VM then don't bother calling again. But calling your phone 10,12 times a day they do that on purpose just to annoy you.

Called said this is...my name...I said yes amd the caller hung up. Blocked.

Called 4 times today idk who they are or why their calling me from others posts their supposedly the government offering grants. Try calling back and all you get is the number has been changed or is no longer in service! The # is obviously spoofed caller ID says California more like India or the middle East

Got a call from them.  I Googled the number real quick, came across this page so I didn't answer.  I immediately got a call from 857-444-0731 while reading the posts...didn't answer that call either. I've noticed these scam calls have ALL come on right after my Facebook business page (with my business number listed) has received a 90% increase in "likes" by people in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I have received 5 calls from them just today. Now its starting to become back to back calls. I will be blocking them now that I've read these reports. Scary stuff!

I received two calls Friday 3/24/17 three times in  row. I don't answer unknown calls.
Today 3/2717 the same 3 calls in a row never leave a message. Now blocked. Wish these stupid scammers would stop!
