Call the number back.. I got a call from the number too.. a song plays for a while... then someone answers and says, "Hello would you like to talk to agents about losing your debt?" I said, "This number has called me a couple of times and I would like you to stop."  As I finished my sentence they hung up on me.  So I called back and asked again, and they hung up on me again. Called back a 3rd time, just for fun just to see what they would say.   The women answered the phone and asked the same question about reducing my debt, so I said yes. She asked me how much debt I was in... I probably should've said none. Then I said, "Ok.  Now that I have you on the phone please listen to me.  Erase my telephone number from where ever you got it." And she hung up on me again.  Stupid stupid people.

P.S.  Don't call it back.... maybe it's one of those numbers that you call... and they charge you an arm and a leg per minute! Eek!

I've been receiving calls from this number, which I know is a solicitation because I am debt free.  Like the previous poster, I called back 3 times only to be HUNG UP ON when I asked to have my number removed from their database.  Nothing makes me more angry!!!  How do I get them to stop calling me?!

Cory from Intercounty Records.  I've received a lot of calls, different numbers each time.  There is sometimes  a second call within an hour of the first one.  But this is the first time on a weekend. Unacceptable.

Called back, poor connection and sounded foreign

I got two calls with messages on my answering machine saying that "it is imperative that" I call them back at an 800 number.  I called the number, they asked if I'd like to speak to someone about reducing my debt. I said "no, I'd like to speak to someone about getting you to stop calling me because I'm on the do not call registry."  They hung up.  I became more annoyed and called back, same results. Tried again and said that I did want to reduce my debt, I got through to an "agent" and requested that they stop calling me; they hung up. I kept calling until I got connected with "a supervisor" who asked if I was trying to get them to stop calling. One day later I get a call from the same number promoting satellite TV. I hung up.  The following day I get another call about Satellite TV, this time from a different Caller ID.  I told them I was interested in speaking to someone about getting them to stop calling since I'm on the do not call registry.  They hung up...

Also received a call from this number. Says his name is Chris Young 800-709-8793 from Multi Credit Solutions and it is imperitive I give him a call regarding my minimum payemtns on credit cards going up.

Phone caller states "imperative that you return this call, because interest rates are going up on all credit cards".  This is one of those "solution" companies to round debt to one negotiated lower sum to be paid with a monthly lower payment.

I got two calls were they left messages that it is imperative that I call them back, what I did was google the numbers and ended up here. I'm not calling them back but I have blocked their numbers with ACR you can get it with your call waiting package. The numbers that came up are 408.651.8160 and 714.607.5770 with two different names but the same message. Sounds like a big phishing scam too me.

Just got an automated call asking if I wanted to reduce debt.  Is there some way to report a number to the do not call registry since this group seems to be ignoring it?

can get your telephone provider to call on your behalf, that way it's documented, then if they continue to call, they can be fined. Request the do not call for ALL affiliated companys, since they call in under various.

I have been getting calls from these people many many times and most of the time i ignore the call because i dont know anyone from CA that would call me. So now that im annoyed with them and i called and told them to take my number off the calling list. they hung up on me. so the calls stopped for a little while then i got called again waited on the line and told them again i want my number off the calling list -hung up on again. i say we sue them. haha. but seriously these calls piss me off because they call in ridiculous early hours and i go to college so they wake me up all the time. then another time i got a call from NH with the same message. im going to call my phone company right now.

I will be reporting them and if they call again I will sue in small claims court - its cheap $15.00 to file suit for harassment and damages. You will win - soon enough if more people join in the battle against these idiots - they will be in debt themselves and forced out of business

They have been calling me for days, leaving messages. When I tell them I am reporting them to the National Do Not Call Registry, they hang up.

It is very annoying. They must be a scam company because they hang up when you tell them to remove your number, rather than doing as asked.

I got irritated and pressed 1, as requested,to tell them to stop calling me and the line went dead..nothing. Now I'm worried that by pressing 1 I did something weird ?

LTS OF MULTISOLs on internet but none of this nature that I could find.

These morons are still calling cellphones.  Got a call on my Tracfone (prepaid cell).  Asked to speak to supervisor, they slammed the phone down.  Based on what we've seen here, we're just gonna skip a couple of steps and go straight to our AG (and Maine's AG HATES these scam telemarketers, as the state has a number of legitimate ones who suffer).  And, as othersmentioned, they barely speak English.
