- gramvanunknown with number is all I get. Checked out # and it is from Salinas, CA, a telemarketer multisol. My next step is the FTC. Good luck everyone.
- ChrisReceived a call from (408) 651-8160 at my work number (of which, I've only been at my job for less than 3 weeks now, so not sure if the call was meant for me or the previous person here...). This number actually left a message (something most of these numbers don't do) stating that his name was Chris Young and he was from Multi Credit Solutions, telling me that it was "imperative" that I call him back regarding my debt situation. The number he gave me to call back was (800) 709-8793.
- Caller: Multi Credit Solutions
- Call type: Unwanted
- Tanya in MI replies to AlanYes, they are slaughtering my phone with calls. This is very aggrevating, I am on the do not call list!!
- KerMy boyfriend had me look this up. He said they called themselves Quality Resources and described the call as strange. As i read your posts i asked him it was similiar and he said yes.
- Caller: Quality Resources
- KevinThis is simply a scam call. Don't bother calling them back or reporting on do not call. They are as worried about that as someone with a stolen car is about a parking ticket. They have a system that allows them to choose the number and caller ID that is displayed and it looks like they chose a telemarketing company (poetic). They just want your credit card number. Give them a fake one.
- gi was out of town for 3 days and i had 8 missed calls from this number, im not returning their calls but if they call again, i have an air horn i will sound off into the reciever : )
- genNo message left.
- BirdI received an enormous amount of calls from this number for 2 weeks. It turns out it is for debt consolidation. I told the to remove me from any list. They were not too happy!!
- Caller: Quality debt
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Annoyed Call Recipient replies to AlanIt's a telemarketer telling that you won "free" gas vouchers (the prize may change) that they'll send you if you try their other service (don't remember what crap that was) for the low introductory rate of, I think it was $1.98. You can cancel at any time before the price jumps up to the normal price (I forget the normal price). Good luck cancelling that. Besides, it sounds to me like a SCAM to get my credit card number. They call from different numbers and different states. I've gotten these calls from (408) 651-8160 & (404) 418-4005. The person I talked to said if I change my mind, I could call (866) 379-2003 (I bet I'd get charged for that). They keep calling and if I don't answer and let it roll into voicemail, I get a message, but it's just 5 or 10 seconds of music.

- Oy The Brave replies to AlanCalled back 408-651-8160. Got a person. Told them i missed their call and they proceeded to go into there speech. Stopped them and told them i just wanted the calls to my cell phone to stop. The person went into a little speech like an automaton and said i wouldn't receive any calls. Let's hope so.
- vicksbeen gettting multiple calls from these people didnt answer..googled the number found this site glad i didnt answer, guess i will think of something fun to tell them next time they call
- TrueGot a call just 5 minutes ago. Scam artist, just refuse them no matter what. They started to give me a customer service number but they hung up before they finished.
I've dealt with these kinds of people before, don't fall into their trap.
If they keep calling, call your phone company and get the phone number blocked. - Erik replies to AlanHave got 5 calls just today from (408)651-8160. It has gone on for a long time
- sarahGot a call from 408-651-8160 they told me they were sending me free vouchers for gas and a bunch of other crap, said that it was only $1 and if i continued to use them it would be $25 a mo. I asked what companie this was and the woman replied that she was an affiliate of over 400 companies and was the middle man and was just reminding me of a package i have coming for another company. i asked if she had my credit card no. and she said no. i asked for a customer service no. where i could cancell immediately because i didn't know what company this was. she gave me 1-800=475-1942, i called them and gave them my name and mailing address and they couldn't find me in there system. i also asked them what company they were and they said they were also an affiliate. THIS IS A BIG SCAM DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD NO.
- Caller: So Called Affiliate of 400 companies
- Call type: Telemarketer
- sunnyI keep getting a call with the number 820011971237118. What is this and who does it belong to?
- i hate scammersI answered this call after the third time they called me. I had already read this page. The woman on the other end began giving me her spiel about gas cards and such, and I began screaming at the top of my lungs in her ear. She did not stop, just kept going as I screamed over and over. I began to think it was a recording, until she stopped for me to answer a question. I kept screaming a high pitched scream. She knew the last digits of my credit card. That bothered me, but I just kept screaming in her ear until she hung up. Hopefully they won't call back. Did they have anyone else' credit card info?
- Kim| 1 replythis is a bill consalidation company. if you call back and press 2 it will take you off the call list
- telemarketers-r-scum replies to KimNo it won't. If you call them then they can call you back without technically violating the DNC list. This is a common trick used by scammers to improve the quality of their phone lists. Don't fall for it.
BTW what's a bill "consalidation" company? Consolidation perhaps? Doesn't matter in the end, does it, just another meaningless phrase that translates to "SCAM".
