12:50 PM - just another scammer from area code 408 - she just talked to my VM asking for me by name and then hung up.  Idiots never stop....

I got called this evening by a guy claiming to be a general contractor who's " remodeling" my neighbor's home. I asked the caller what his company's name is. He paused, muttered something unintelligible and then hung up.

A woman asked for a relative's name. When I said he wasn't here, then she said she's good. She wouldn't leave a message. I hung up on her.

This number called me at 8:00 PM today. I usually don't answer "foreign" phone numbers, but I grabbed my cell anyway and answered. There's the typical long pause and then a woman says, "Hello, hello." She's asking to speak with Daryl regarding a bathroom remodel. I said, "No one by the name of Daryl lives at this address. Don't call my number anymore."

It a scam100%.  how come the phone company would allow that happen?

Got a call the same as others have stated about being a contractor who was doing work a couple streets down. When I said I wasn't interested he immediately hung up. Wasn't able to tell him off about being a scammer. Stupid cowards wasting people's time.

Caller said he just finished remodeling my neighbor's kitchen and bathrooms. I informed the caller that I live in a subdivision that's only three years old, and none of my neighbor's are ripping out their kitchens and baths. His reply was, "oh, that's nice." And then hangs up.

How is it that this site is part of the robocallers?  How does this site make money from the scammers? Perhaps you need a new tinfoil hat, the one you are wearing is too tight.

Not at all. I have found 800notes to be an excellent source of information when it comes to calls from telemaggoters.

Have you ever thought that certain posters (ones that post rubbish like you just did) are actually the scammers themselves trying to discredit good web sites such as this who bring your scams to light and prevent you from conning everyone?

Hmmmm.. seems to me your tin foil hat has obstructed much needed 02 arriving to the brain cell! Did you think the US is all alone and that we are the only ones getting these call? We are not, they are occurring all over the world and a lot are coming from foreign country's.

Personally,I think your just a troll pot stirring and perhaps a illegal telemarketer trying to cast fear and distrust to further your crimes.

Caller ID simply shows San Jose. Didn't answer and didn't leave message. Total scum!

CID to my phone on 05.07.16 @ 1338 hrs PT, from "Unknown."  The area code covers Santa Clara County.  Blocked number on handset & reported to DNC.

This caller calls repeatedly, every week or so.  I do not pick and there is no mesage.

Smart ass, if what you say is correct, can you tell us how they can benefit by operating this site?
