I suppose every time some store gets hacked and credit card info gets leaked, these ---s come poking around trying to phish for more complete data.

Got a call on my cell from this morning before 9 am. Didn't recognize the number, so I didn't pick up. Immediately blocked the b@stards! I never give out my cell number so how they got it is beyond me but hey, thank God for the unlimited block feature.

I missed a call from them this morning.  Called back and the line was busy.

Got called early this morning @ 8:45 and again 8:46.  No further calls. Do not answer anything I don't recognize.

Called my husbands cell phone - no message - but he made 6 fruitless calls trying to be sure it wasn't someone in trouble. Someone please stop these evil people!!

Got a call from them on my cell phone at 5:06pm on Thursday.  I live in Florida.  Have no idea who these people are but sure would like to know how they get my cell phone numbers.

I should have known it was another one of those kind of calls.  I've gotten calls about reducing my credit card rates before, but it was a recording.  It's such a scam, it was on the news once.

No message on this one, called around 12 noon yesterday.  I got this call when I was expecting an important call.  Stupid Caller ID looked fishy too.  Why would a gum company call me?  I read once these scammers use old numbers from legit businesses.  Or it could be a fax number.

Not long ago, I got calls from "Bel Air Bar & Grill" that was about carpet cleaning.  That number was the restaurant's fax number, and they got a lot of complaints about the calls using their ID.

Like the above poster, I don't pay interest.  I hardly use my cards at all.

The number this scam is using is supposedly from Maryland.  But they can spoof ID's or numbers....
