automated call saying that my SS# has been used in a fraudulent scam and it and my bank account have been suspended

sounds like a scam asking for my bank account and SS number.

“Enforcement department and also just freeze your bank account before we go ahead and do that if you need any further information about it kindly call back at 410-401-8780 once again that's 410-401-8780 thank you…”

Just rec’d the same message !!!

Automated call that left voicemail saying something about bank account and police. Scam.

Left voicemail but it was broken up so i looked up number...thanks to previous reviews i know this is scam!

Same call, called them back and they asked for my name and ss#.. big scam.... called the real social security administration office and their automated voices are completely different... DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFO!!

I knew it's obviously a scam, but I called back. The heavily accented "officer Billy Smith" asking if my local police department called me because of fraudulent something with my ssn, asked me to stay on the line. I hung up. Did he really think I'd give my information? Crazy. It's horrible that so many probably fall for it...

Alleged my social security number and bank account compromised. I told “them” where to go with words I can’t use here. 😄 Definitely fraudulant caller.

Same return phone number, same message "closed bank account". More scams than real phone calls these days. I don't even bother to say hello anymore when I pick up the phone, just wait for robot to hang up, or scam message to end.

For the details

I called the number and a male answered the phone.  He stated his name was officer Mark Walter (badge number 10356).  He said he was a social security officer.   He stated that the Federal Bureau of Investigations was going to suspend my social security number.  Then said something about US Marshall and some rental car that had been rented using my social security number.  The car was in Texas where they found blood on the car.  Gave to addresses connected with the car rental - one in Texas another in Los Angeles.

I calle him ..... .... ..... and hung up

Same - Freeze Bank account

I received this call twice today (July 9, 2018).
Its garbled a little in the beginning of the voice mail but end up saying they are going to suspend my bank account. Sounds like a racket. These people need a REAL job! Ugh!

I received this same call and voicemail message.  Blocked the caller.

I just got the same call regarding fraudulent activity on my social security card and suspension of my accounts

Got the same bogus message on my cell.  Called back from an untraceable work number and immediately told the guy answering that he needs to stop causing harm & cheating people.  I also told him I was a powerful witch, that I was putting a curse on him, and that he would forever suffer from very bad karma.  He hung up on me!

Caller states "IRS suspending payments and blocking all account."
