Just got a call from this number but they didn't leave a message. I thought the number looked familiar so I checked and find this site.

Called me twice yesterday and SIX TIMES today on my cell.  Spoofing the actual Duquesne Light number, 412-393-7100.  Man with a thick accent saying his name is "Harry" and wanting to talk to me about my electric bill.  He was sitting in what sounded like a very noisy boiler room call center.  I yelled at him and hung-up.

Definite scam.  I recognized the number as Duquesne Light since I had gotten a number of scam calls in May/June with this number.  Didn't bother to answer.

Came up on the caller ID just now as "Robo Caller".  No message left.  No, it ISN'T Duquesne Light.  It's someone who has spoofed their number.  I didn't actually look at the number that carefully because of the caller ID until I Googled the number and the first hit was for here.

Lost track of how many hangup calls we have gotten in the past couple of weeks.  This is the number for Duquesne Light Company, but it's not them calling.  Caller ID has been saying "Robocaller" of late, but for some reason it only shows the most recent one (we got at LEAST six the week before Christmas alone).  This latest one came in around dinnertime on 12/27/19.  And of course we weren't home.  But there is NEVER a message left.

Two calls today from the "not Duquesne Light" people in maybe an hour.  First time?  Hung up after four rings (and showed on the caller ID -- while still ringing! -- as "1 missed call").  Second time?  Waited till the answering machine picked up before hanging up....  Thought the number sounded familiar....  I'm sure that the REAL Duquesne Light people are tearing their hair out from all the people calling them back complaining.

Scammers neither know nor care if you're on the DNC list. That's why a call blocker is such a good investment.

They call several times every day and never leave a message on our voice mail. Our caller ID always says it is DUQUESNE LIGHT. This is a scam. I hope no one falls for it.

As everyone to date has said, this is the number for Duquesne Light and therefore not something I want to block. I got maybe 5 calls today, if I don't say anything I get silence at their end and then they hang up. One of the times they called, today I said "hello" and got "Harry" though from his accent I might spell it "Hari" who started on with some shtick about the electric company wanting to reduce my bill. He claimed, when challenged that he was trying to sell me something that wasn't the case and yet the moment it headed in that direction I hung up.

I've lost track of how many times this number has called this week -- always comes up as "Robo Caller".  Like other people have said, if you call it back, it IS Duquesne Light's number -- but it's NOT making the calls.  THEIR legal team is now looking into the calls (and hopefully, so is the PA Attorney-General's consumer people, because I reported the call to THEM as well as to Duquesne Light.  When I was talking to Duquesne Light I gave them the "name" linked to the number on Whitepages.com (which within 24 hours of me first looking up the number there is NOW listed as a high risk of being fraud).  I think I told that info to the PA DNC list as well.  When my husband accidentally picked up at the beginning of the week, the guy he talked to said he was from the "Green Power Company" -- I looked that up and it's a place in TUNISIA that makes "photo-voltaic" batteries.  Not sure if they're part of the scam or also victims.

Completely fraudulent call. I don't have west Penn power or Duquesne light. The scammer parasite is spoofing their number. Phishing. Identity theft. Fraud.

This the first time since December of last year that this number has called.  Scarily I recognized the number after all this time.  Came up on the caller ID as "Robo Caller".  Ironically, they got a busy signal because I was on the phone with my carrier b*tching about their lousy customer support, badly designed and hard to navigate website, horrible chat window on the website (which kept cutting out and I'd get a "Oh, we seem to have technical issues at the moment...." popup warning at random intervals; dropped my signal more than once, and was manned by people who seemed as dumb as their badly coded chat bot); and general lousy service (including NOT following the new Federal Law requiring the carriers to do more to STOP spam calls) when the call came in.  I kept hearing weird noises, and the customer support person did too.  After I got off the phone I discovered that I had been right in suspecting a spammer....  The one really *good* thing of the 2-1/4 hour phone conversation was that this call could NOT get through....
