- hollander56I have an account with PNC will now be paid off in 17 months, I was going to payoff this May, but now they have started calling me 4 or 5 times a day this month. I am not past due and have never been late, I repeat I have never been late. However the interest on the loan was front loaded and now payment mostly applied to principle. Could this be why they are calling?? They made their money and now want the loan paid off. I am pissed off now and will make the payment over the next 17 months. one a month. F'em. I also have this new Panasonic phone that will block call with a few push of the buttons, my phone rings once telling me the call is blocked, they hear buzy signal, then my phone hangs up on them. Beautiful thing. Phone blocks up to 30 numbers. You have got to get one of these.

- DTPayment was due Yesterday on consumer loan. Have received 2 calls so far this morning. ONE DAY! They are ridiculous and will not stop calling. Fortunately they only have my cell # and I blocked their calls. I refuse to give them my home #.

- chele| 1 replyI received this call today. Said they had not received payment and I could do it over the phone with a check and it takes 3 minutes. I said the payment was sent in and there is a 10 day grace period so it isn't late. He said there is no 10 day grace period. That is what it says on the coupon book. I feel this was a scam. I told him to call my husband and he did and told him the same thing. My husband told him it was mailed out and not to bother us on the weekend. I feel it is a scam still. The person never told me who he was until I asked where was he calling from, then he said PNC in Pittsburgh. Sounds fishy!!

- irish guy replies to KateThese people have done the same to us. We're not late, but ask for bank routing and checking numbers. They.. finally on the fifth call said they werePNC bank
I guess they don't know consumers law, but we know just the person who does.E4Y9 - irish guy replies to LianeIf you're payment is due the first and you're charged a late fee after the 10th that's your grace period per a attorney we know. Next time go through your bank, ford credit or your credit union.
These are rude people. We'll never finance a thing through them.EVER. - John replies to cheleThere is not a grace period on auto loans. If your due date is the 1st of the month, the interest on your loan is calculated as if you are going to pay on the 1st of each month. If you pay after the first, you get charged more interest every day after the 1st and it is applied onto the final payment of your loan. That is why that person told you you don't have a grace period.
- Atypical replies to Walt| 1 replyPNC bank is the WORST bank there is. If your payment is ONE DAY LATE they will call incessantly. The next time I take a loan out I will make sure it is NOT with PNC bank.
BTW, we bailed these a**holes out and this is how we're "repaid"????
Thanks Obamao! - Protip replies to jennifur| 1 replyProtip: NEVER provide your cell phone number to ANY bank (loan documents especially) unless the cell phone is a burner.
- Joni replies to tootsieThey did the same thing to me multiple times. Finally I just changed banks so they could not do that anymore
- PA6 phone calls in past 3 days, on my restricted private office number -- rude female identifies call as from PNC and they are looking for someone I do not know. Have no idea how they got my private, restricted office number.

- J J replies to Kestrel 550They called today at 1:10 pm and no message. So I called them back and told them my payment is on time. Why are you calling me? Never will I GET A LOAN IR ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN!!
- OhioI am in my 4th year of a 5 year car loan with PNC. My due date on the loan is the 11th of the month and there are a few days grace period before a late fee is charged. In the 4 years I have never missed a payment, never made my monthly payment more than 2 day after that due date, but if a weekend falls on the 11th and I cannot get to the bank by opening time the next Monday, you can bet your bottom dollar that they will call me, on my cell phone and at work. This is the worst bank to take an auto loan with, they hound you the next morning after you loan is due . One more year to go and NEVER AGAIN with PNC.
I must add that my other 2 car loans are with Toyota and Wells Fargo, no issues with them whatsoever, 2 great Institutions to deal with.- Caller: PNC

- SamWeird seeing these messages. I got a call from this number, I called them back and they just said they were from "Consumer Services" and were looking for Marisol [last name redacted] (which isn't me -- I have no idea who it is]. I told them they had the wrong number and they said they'd take me off the list.
I do have a loan with PNC, but I really don't think I'm late with it. I have no issues paying, so the only lateness would be a timing issue. - Joyless replies to Protipwell these idiots are calling me at work. at first I didn't know who they were and I didn't answer but since I have caller ID I kept seeing them come up. I finally answered and told them to never call me at work since we have a rule against that anyway.
they are still calling me at wokr when i fall short of 1-2 days of making the car loan payment. What idiots! Isn't there a law against such harrassment at work? I thought there was. - JessicaMy husband and I have a car loan through PNC Bank. Our car payment was due on the 26th of the month so we scheduled a payment to be made on the 23rd. Well apparently they attempted to deduct the payment from the wrong bank account, an account that was closed, and the payment bounced back. Their payment website showed that our scheduled payment was made so we were unaware of this error until on the morning of the 28th when the phone calls began in the early morning. My husband and I did not pick up the phone because it was an unfamiliar number. After the phone number showed up on our caller ID repeatedly for 2 days I decided to Google it and came across this page. Once I realized that there was a potential issue with the payment I attempted to sign onto their website to rectify the situation, but of course my online access was suspended so I had to call them personally to have the suspension lifted before I could schedule another payment. Even AFTER I scheduled the new payment they STILL called me! Well needless to say, I was not so pleasant with the person on the phone. Absolutely ridiculous! We've had this car loan for almost 2 years and have never been late with a payment so for them to call repeatedly like this is absolutely uncalled for and unacceptable. Also, if their payment is so important that they need to call repeatedly, why not leave a damn message on my answering machine so I know what the calls are for?!? Why did I have to Google the phone number to find out there was a potential issue with the payment?!? From now on, when buying a car I will make sure that the loan is NOT through PNC Bank!
