This number comes from collectors and the name of the company is Rash, Curtis and Brass, I think.  I looked them up at the BBB in San Francisco and they have an A+ standing!  Which means the BBB can be bought off!!!  This company is rude and pushy and they don't stop calling.

Rash, Curtis, and Associsates - I have dealt with this company before. They were collecting a debt I have with Capitol One about 2 years ago. I agreed to a payment plan with them and when it came time to pay them I recieved a notice that the payments were paid (3 payments). Then one month I couldn't do a full payment so I called and said "I can only pay $x and that is all." The guy on the other end said "ok" and I didn't hear from them again. About 5 months ago they reported on my credit report for all those payments that they did not take out of my account. Today they begun their harrassing  phones calles both on my cell phone and at work! If it is not a sales call then they should know that I no longer use my madian name!

there is so much bull in this post it's funny...First if your 16 why do you have a debit or credit card? Second , you are not responsible for your fathers debt and a collection agency wont talk to you about it. Third, the hospital hires 3rd party collection agency's to collect on a debt that the patient or insurance didn't pay. And in general the only people who know who the collection agency is would be the hospital or doctors billing department. Finally, insurance don't bill you for your portion, they send you a explanation of benefits (eob) showing what they paid (if any) and what you may owe.  Note:  A lot of times insurance needs more information from the patient before they will pay, like coordination of benefits or accident detail report.

This number has called me over and over asking me to call because there is an important message.

Please stop calling me it's bothering me on my job everytime you guys call. I'm not really interested on answering whatever is the phone call is. Please stop calling my cell phone.

they call all the time. no msg. i dont know what they want until i goggled. why dont they let a msg? so unprofessional! why cant they act professional, leave a msg and let me know what they want? I would call them back if they handled it better.
like they know they in the wrong...or trying to be sneaky in calling...something not right. with  their behavior so rude  i dont want to deal with them now.

I received a recorded call telling me I had an overdue bill and this was collection agency (I think it was Rash, Curtis, and Brass). The message said if you are the person whose name they said (and they had my name), to continue listening; otherwise, hang up. So if you stay on the line, it confirms the number they called is really you. Then the message gives you a case number and phone number to call (it started with 707, but I didn't catch the rest of it). There's no way to repeat the message. If you get a call from this phone number, HANG UP IMMEDITATELY!

Keep getting call from 415-573-0745 and i keep telling them to remove this number from there list, Maybe this time???

I have been receiving calls from these people and since I don't recognize the phone number I don't answer.  They left a message "If you are _ _ _ _ _ _, please continue to listen, otherwise hang up.
That person is not at this address or phone number.  And yes, we are on the do not call registry.  They get a commission off the money they collect.  The nastier they are they feel that you will break down and pay them.  I knew a debt collector who bragged that she got a 22% commission off each debt she was able to collect on!  Look at the statue of limitations of just how long a debt is collectable in your state.  It is from the last payment you paid the original debt holder. Not the people who bought the invoices.

I am getting calls from this number. Whether you answer or not, the computerized voice keeps going on. The recording tells you "if you are not 'Summer ...', push a number or hang up. according to the message, this is personal call for Summer whoever. and proceeds to telling me that this is an attempt to  collect medical bills 'Summer' owes. Really? It started last summer conveniently, just after I moved out of the state. I have had my number nearly 10 years. So it must be a scam.
I am nto call them back to let them know I am ready to be scammed. Be careful, people.

These people will harass anybody they have info on, I'm sure they will take payment from a minor they don't care!.
They have been harassing me for over a year calling at all times of the day or night.
My wifes son owes them money, He is 48years old, dose not live here [he lives in jail all of the time]
I've explained several times these facts.They don't care they ask me to pay he's bill.

I'm sure I've gotten calls from this number before, but not for a while. Got one this morning on my cell phone and it showed a voice mail. I checked the voice mail and there was just a weird sound and no message.

I have read most of the comments here and would advise those of you who have not already done so, to file a report with the BBB, despite their high rating. Be insistant!! There are also consumer credit organizations that deal with this kind of thing, they protect the rights of consumers when dealing with corrupt, shady, bullying entities in the collection world. It is illegal for them to do much of what they do. PLEASE report it to as many relevent organizations as you can. Glad these comments were here. Thanks everyone!

More than likely a debt collector too lazy to hire real people to make actual calls. I got a call from this number twice in one day and once the following day looking for someone who probably had my phone number years ago! Just put this number on your reject number list and enjoy the rest of your life!

these people call my phone night AND day! if i dont answer they leave this bleeping noise on my voice mail. when i called to find out who is was...rash curtis..they were extremely rude on the phone demanding to know whos number mine was. i told them it was none of their business unless they pay my phone bill and to take me off their list.

I keep TELLING these people there is NO ONE by the name they keep calling for.  I've thold the reps MANY TIMES OVER there is NO ONE @ my COMPANY # they keep calling and advising them it's a RECYCLED # & they keep telling me I'll be removed from the list but YET...the CALLS KEEPS COMING IN...UGGGGGHHH1!!  IDIOTS!

I also have been receiving calls from these people to collect medical debt, even though I just moved here from Tunisia and have no family here. I don't even think they have incomplete medical records, they're probably trying to hit or miss.
