This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

If you’ve received an unsolicited telemarketing call from Rachel at “Cardholder Services”, Tom with “Home Security”, or other robocalls originating from this a phone number, it likely came from a telemarketer that has entered into a revenue sharing agreement with a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc. or  Pacific Telecom Communications Group. I get them about 7 times a day.

Same story as all the rest.  They ring but didn't leave an answer.  Glad I didn't answer.  I still think the crank calls and spam are worse now than ever.

Number left a voicemail, a recording about auto insurance, of which I haven't requesting info of which I've had the same insurance for near 10 years.  Consider it safe to block as it looks like a general inlet for random telemarketing.  It'd be nice of virgin mobile would block this [***] like verizon did.  I'll bet a lot of you are virgin or budget cell customers like I am, these calls seem to be standard faire, perhaps even a source of income for the providers.
