Got a voicemail from the #415-800-4978 sttd lady from IRS and needed to call back. Called and got male with Indian accent. Asked me to spell my name so I did. Placed me on hold then told me it was about a lawsuit and to verify my address. Told him I wasn't going to verify anything until he told me what it was about. After repeating myself twice the guy hung up the call

I also got a call from this number claiming they were the IRS and it was from Nikki Johnson. I called back and he had a middle eastern accent claiming I haven't done my taxes since 2009 which is bull and I called him out on that told him I have my statements from 2007 and then he said they were done wrong. I said then how come H&R block hasn't called me. He said he was calling from Washington D.C. I said how it that possible when the number is from California and he hung up on me.

This person identified themselves as an IRS agent and it would harmful to us if we do not call back.

A situation such as this just happened to me just now and when I asked the man on the phone if I could come in and speak to someone in person he hung up on me, definitely a scam.

They called.. I missed it.. Then I called right back to see who it was & a man said the IRS & I was like okay who are you looking for & he hung up! Now I'm calling again and it seems to be blocking my number or a internet line!!
