Exactly the same call - "This is the second warning about your car insurance (or warranty or something). You are currently uninsured... etc."
I've had this call 4 or 5 times now though... getting a bit sick of it to be honest.

    Annoyed call reciever
This is so annoying.....call was about a 'factory car warranty' about to expire.  I don't have any warranty on my car.  How do they get cell phone numbers anyway?

I got a call from them, my cellphone is unlisted which means that dealerships and service centers have been selling our numbers. Anyone else have a car that's going to have their warranty expire soon as well?

Got the same "2nd warning" call twice now, it must be a scam of some sort but I don't know what.

just got the same call for the first time...asking me to press 1 to talk to a rep, press 2 to be removed from the list...I just hung up...anybody actually press 1?  Probably some scam that charges you like $20/minute, but obviously is not an official call from your car manufacturer.

I have been getting these calls for just over a month now and getting really annoyed! they dont leave messages and when they do, they saying your something about your car and that you need to be updated and dumb stuff like that...when you actually try to call them back the number is OUT OF SERVICE! and question is, it seems like they're only calling on cell hpones? how do they get the numbers??!

M1987 - not even close.  They are not getting the numbers from dealerships or service centers. I have a brand new cell number and an 11 year old car that I didn't by from a dealership. My service center is owned by my bro, who would not give out cell numbers. Way to jump to conclusions.

It's a scam.  Same one as the one based out of the us with the 919 area code.  Some class-action lawsuits are being filed in the US in regards to this scam.

I'm on Bell and have been getting the 416-000-xxxx calls for a while now.  I never answer them, but it's extremely god damn annoying.  Nobody else above said they're on Bell so I just wanted to say that I am...  It's obviously someone using Skype or some other VOIP service to wardial, can't these idiotic phone companies offer something like VOIP blocking?
